Wonderful cruise excursion - Booked 1 day prior to tour to meet us from a cruise. Exceptional pre-excursion information. Clear joining instructions. Met on time per information. Incredibly professional driver & guide (Maria and Giuseppe). Etna & Taormina were a great introduction to Sicily. Informative, caring, professional and good humoured. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ cruise excursion with DIscover Messina up to Mount Etna and Taormina. - We had a wonderful experience on the ‘Day Tour: Taormina & Etna Tour “Gold of Gods”’ with Carmelo as our guide and John Carlos as our driver. We were in port for the day on a cruise and Discover Messina picked us up within the port and they were very organized and prompt. Our small group was for up to 16 people; however, we ended up with just 6. Carmelo shared a wide array of knowledge about Sicily as we drove up to Mount Etna and then again on the way back. We would 100% recommend this tour.

Awesome day with Discover Messina Sicily - Amazing tour with Sara as our guide and cant remember the driver (sorry) but he was really good also. They took us to hike around some old Etna craters stopping to get delicious cannoli on the way. Then they dropped us off at Taormina for a couple of hours--Sara gave us plenty of recommendations and we loved the places she recommended. After Taormina, they drove us back to Messina where we stopped at the Cathedral of Messina first--Sar was so informative. We loved spending the day with her and hope to be back next year to do the ATVs on Etna.
Highly recommend this company--their communication was the best. Sara and driver were so nice and she spoke very good English. This was our favorite tour on our Mediterranean Cruise.

Bucket list tour! - Carmelo took us to Silvestri Crater in Mount Etna! It was awesome! While exploring the crater we could hear Mount Etna rumbling. Afterwards we headed to beautiful Taormina. Carmelo was friendly, informative and very helpful. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Wonderful day, don’t hesitate if in the area. - We had a fantastic day. Mount Etna was amazing! The whole area was beautiful. We even enjoyed the drive there. The 2nd part of the tour, Taromina was also very nice. Nice small town, with lots of history and cute shops. The view from the square was absolutely stunning. Our guides, Marie and Giuseppe were wonderful hosts…could not asked for better guides. Would highly recommend.

Stress free & picture worthy - We absolutely loved this tour, as cruise travelers this was the most stress free experience you’ll ever choose. Maria was the best and sweetest guide ever. Etna had just happened to have a big eruption the night before our tour and you could see just how genuinely excited Maria was to share that experience with us. Once at Etna Maria explained interesting facts about Etna while we walked up one of the slopes. Seeing the smoke coming out while listening to these facts was a memory that’ll stick with me forever. We were given plenty of time to walk back down, offered samples of almond wine, honey, and pistachio cream, and shop. Once at Taormina, we were given free time, which was perfect to get lunch and window shop. We were able to get so many fantastic photos here, as well as at Etna.

Couldn’t be better… - Perfectly organized tour from picking us up at the port to the very end dropping us off at the port of Messina. Our tour guide Cecilia was a great win for the whole tour. You could feel her energy and passion in every detail she was telling us - about Sicily in general, about the food in Sicily, the history of Sicily or mount Etna. We were able to feel how passionate Cecilia was about Sicily overall. And our bus driver Giovanni has taken us safely and as quick as possible from A to Z. Fun fact - we have been the only Germans on the English tour and Cecilia practiced her German skills with us. 😁 We would book the tour again! Outstanding! Thank you so much!

Beautiful experience - Maria was a great tour operator and her love of Etna is evident, she also had great information for Taormina. My only criticism is the transport it self, there were 15 people on the tour on a 15 passenger bus, it was very tight quarters. I do understand every seat represents revenue, but comfort of those who are paying should be taken into consideration.

Great Excursion - What a fantastic tour! Alessandra P. was a wonderful guide. The views from the boat were amazing. My favorite part was the swimming/snorkeling. I would love it even more if we had more time on the boat and a little less time in the city.
