Super Experience - Sara was so knowledgeable. We learned about culture geology and native plants. Her English is flawless. Rosario drives so safely. We never had any concerns. The van was the perfect vehicle allowing both grandchildren window seats. Highly recommend.

Wonderful tour! - Great tour! Our cruise ship (NCL epic) was supposed to disembark in Messina but changed course and went to another port city. The tour group was very organized and communicated they would pick us up at the new port. It was easy to find them and well organized. Bus was comfortable. Our guide Giuseppe was great! He was knowledgable and friendly. He provided some local treats for the ride plus water. Etna was amazing! We got off the bus at a cafe with great coffee and snacks. We walked around the caldera for about an hour. Our 5 year old loved seeing the lava and views. The bus ride to Taormina was a little long and we stopped at a shop midway for tasting honey, olive oil and wine. We were only there 15 minutes but I would have preferred that time in Taormina. The honey was delicious but it was basically a stop and spend money here kind of place. Taormina is gorgeous. It’s a small town with lots of high end shopping and dining. The views over the water are incredible. Great spot to pick up unique souvenirs. We didn’t have long- just long enough for lunch and some window shopping a few minutes. Giuseppe recommend lemon granita and it was fantastic! Very glad we booked this tour. Great communication and organization. A wonderful time.

Best tour we booked! - Cecilia was absolutely fantastic! All sorts of surprises along the way, shared her very interesting life (that is comedy 😂), and so much history and information. Certainly better than your average tour, and our entire group was raving about it being well worth it. We did have some struggles with the AC on the bus, but the driver fixed it and in fairness it was when we were going up the steepest part of the mountain. Discover Messina is doing a great job :)

A must do experience! - Picked up from the cruise port… an EASY time finding it (especially when compared to Naples chaos!) Guide Maria Pi… was a gem in personality and knowledge and general kindness. She laid out the day right at the get-go. The ride to Etna is 90 minutes which was very interesting as you climb up and up and up. Great driver! It’s cold at the top! Bring your warmest jacket(s)! Interesting facts given at top which could have been abbreviated or spoken about in the bus which would have given us more time at AMAZing Taormina! It’s not ‘at the beach’ as I ‘ASSumed’ but waayyy up and has a main long long narrow fun street with interesting side stairs going up AND down! If I did it again, I’d head a mile first to the Grecian Theater- one must buy a ticket to gaze over the area. Still, even the walk there was fun fun! Passed three churches on the way, a bridal party marching up loudly singing to the bride (maybe), many restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating… pricey I guess but only got a t shirt and pin. Oh for many more hours there! Still- we knew what we were getting and it was a wonderful taste of beautiful Sicily! Well done Maria!

Nice alternative to expensive excursions offered by cruise - This was cheaper than what my cruise line was charging and the company made sure we made it back to port timely. Tour guide Guiseppe (a local Sicilian) was fabulous. He gave good advice on traditional street food and cannolis. Etna was a disappointment -very windy and not worth seeing. Taormina was nice.
