• Messina - This journey promises to be an incredible adventure. The drive from Messina to Taormina will take approximately 45 minutes on the highway.
• Castelmola - Upon reaching Castelmola, visitors can marvel at one of Italy’s most stunning villages and savor the almond wine at the renowned Bar Turrisi. The bar is uniquely decorated with phallic symbols, which are not intended to be vulgar but rather represent fertility, prosperity, and freedom in Greek culture. Additionally, Fulvio will guide you to enjoy some delectable Sicilian cannoli from the legendary Stefania Pittitti.
• Taormina - The final destination of our tour is Taormina, where we will spend around 3 hours. Here, you can enjoy breathtaking views and explore the iconic Greco-Roman Amphitheatre (note that the entrance fee is not included). The historic center and the charming Corso Umberto are also highlights. You will be taken to the famous balcony in Taormina to admire the stunning Isola Bella, offering a perfect photo opportunity to capture unforgettable memories. Afterward, we will return to Messina via the motorway, which will take about 45 minutes by car.
• Metropolitan City of Messina - Following our visit to Taormina, we will head back to the ship at the original meeting point. Before boarding, there will be a tour of the city’s historic center, showcasing key attractions such as the panoramic view of Christ the King, the Cathedral of Messina, and the renowned mechanical astronomical clock of our city.
