A stop will be made to admire the stunning Isola Bella and capture some memorable photos. The journey continues to the center of Taormina, where there will be approximately 2 hours of free time to explore the Roman Greek Theater and shop along the renowned Corso Umberto. The tour will then proceed to Castelmola to sample the famous almond wine and enjoy the breathtaking view of Mount Etna. The return to Messina includes stops at the Cristo Re Shrine and the Cathedral of Messina, featuring the impressive astronomical clock tower.
- Castillo de Castelmola - Enjoy a stroll through the village, visiting shops that offer typical ceramics from Caltagirone, and take in the view of the Etna Volcano. There will be free time for shopping.
- Bar Vitelli - Visit one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, where some of the most iconic scenes from the Godfather film were shot. There will be free time to explore the village, visit the Church of Santa Lucia, and see the famous Bar Vitelli, the setting for some of the film’s most memorable scenes.

Sicily the Beautiful! - This tour with Erika was amazing! Filippo was an excellant driver, navigating the twist and turns with caution. Erika was a wealth of information and made this tour so special. Sicily is so, so beautiful and the three towns we visited were beyond our expectations. We were a group of 16 and they were able to accomodate our group with a mini bus. Also, made lunch reservations in Castelmola at a restaurant with a beautiful view. Savoca, Castelmola, and Taormina are definitely worth visiting. Many thanks to Erika for a very special day!

Our family trip to Messina - The whole experience in Messina was absolutely captivating. Sonia, who showed us around was extremely informative, professional, and they may add funny! Would definitely choose this tour again.

Beautiful day! - By far, Erika was the most knowledgeable tour guide we had during our wonderful three week trip to Italy. She was so flexible in her approach to ensuring that all 10 of us experienced all that we hoped for. Her obvious and sincere passion for Sicily made the day even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour not only because of the beautiful stops but for the richness of the day provided by Erika and her coworkers. Thank you to all of them!! You all remain in our hearts.

A wonder day in Sicily! - Filippo, our driver and Erika, our tour guide were excellent! Filippo navigated the narrow streets with expert precision. Erika was friendly, socialable and knowledgeable. They knew all the best overviews for photos and the historic structures and landmarks. They helped tailor an enjoyable day around our wishes and requests. I highly recommend this tour!

Friend group tour- Best private tour! - We had a wonderful tour with Erica!! She was so knowledgeable and you could tell she loved Sicily. The tour was timely but never felt rushed. Highly recommend Erica and her tour. A great experience and I can not wait to return. Would book again for sure!! It truly in the best private tour!

A great experience! - This was a real tour with a driver and guide for four of us. Tour guide was excellent, spoke perfect English…and driver very knowledgeable. They customized our tour according to what we wanted. It was a great time!

Fantastic Sicily Tour - Our family of six, including one teenager and three young adults, recently toured with The Best Private Tour Sicily. Sonia was our tour guide and Filippo was our driver. We toured Savoca, Castelmola, and Taormina. They also provided an excellent recommendation at a family-run restaurant in Taormina that we all loved. The tour was excellent, interesting, and saw beautiful scenery! Sonia and Filippo were great and highly recommend using them while in Sicily! This was one of our favorite tours.

Sicily Best Tours Family Trip - Sicily Best Tours provided excellent service for our party of 10 in Sicily. Picked up and delivered tour on time. Back to cruise ship with no issues. Easy access to promised, advertised sites. Provided site seeing history information and great town food recommendations. Ensured service level met expectations. Vehicle was clean and spacious. Marvellous Messina - We can’t thank this company enough. Erika was an outstanding tour guide, knowledgeable, personable, and very clear with her communication. We ticked all the boxes we wanted to, she allowed for some flexibility, and we were back at the ship at a very comfortable time despite the relatively short port stop.
