Great Pasta and Pizza Class! - Outstanding adventure! We had a great time visiting Taormina and making pasta and pizza! Pepe met us at the ship in Messina and took us to Taormina. He guided us through the town and left us in the capable cooking class hands at Porta Messina. After class, we ate our creations with wine and drink. We had a little time for shopping, then back to the ship. A great excursion in Messina!

Great cruise excursion! - This was a fantastic tour! Cecilia was so fun and shared many interesting tidbits about Sicilian life. My 2 tween daughters loved the pasta and pizza making and everything was delicious. We also enjoyed the free time to walk around the Main Street and do some shopping! Highly recommend.

Great Cruise Excursion - The trip started out with our driver going to hospital!! But our guides were great and figured out Plan B and we all still made it to our cooking class! Sonia was our guide once we got to Taormina and she was the best! If she sees this- I hope she is enjoying her Mama Mia summer and that she gets her designer bag!! 😉 This was probably my favorite cruise excursion! Loved everything about it!

Exceeded my expectations - Our entire experience exceeded my expectations. There were 9 people in our group. Our guide was Alessandra and she was wonderful. She kept us organized but also really cared that we had a wonderful time. We walked through Taormina to the restaurant (Porta Messina). They gave us each an apron as a souvenir. They taught us how to make pasta (which was a surprise to us). Then we sat down at a beautifully set table with fruit, bread, cheese, meat, wine and water. After sampling these treats, we went back to the cooking space and they taught us to make pizza dough. There were many chefs/waiters helping our group. Then they taught us to make the crust and then we went into the kitchen in small groups and topped our pizza. We ate our pizza (amazing sauce, toppings and crust). After pizza they gave us each an amazing pistachio cannoli and lemoncello. After the class we had about an hour to wander around and shop before boarded the bus to go back to the port. The experience felt leisurely and fun but we also fit a lot in. Great experience!

Pizza making in Taormina. - This class was a highlight on our Mediterranean cruise! Not only did we make pizza, but we also got to make pasta. The wine was free flowing and there were other amazing things to eat as well. The town of Taormina was beautiful. Highly suggest this!

Our Favorite Experience in 20 days of Italy - This was one of our top two favorite experiences on our 20 day vacation through Italy! We LOVED our tour guides Alessandra, Sonia, and Mariarita. We really felt like we got to know the culture from Sonia and Alessandra. The food was Spectacular and it was more delicious and fun than we could have imagined! The restaurant was incredible. I'd say it's a once-in-a lifetime experience...but I will do it again if I make it back to Sicily!

Absolutely Amazing - We were picked up from our cruise port and driven to Taormina by Sofia- where we were passed off to a local guide Sonya. The bus ride included cookies and water bottles. Sonya showed us all kinds of local culture-rich spots before making our way to the restaurant. The staff at the restaurant were AMAZING. I felt like family laughing along with them in the kitchen, we made noodles, pizza, and finished the day with wine, snacks, canoli, and the dishes we created. I have never had more fun on a tour and I would highly recommend for something different and personalized to do in Sicily.

Book it! So fun!! - So beyond thrilled with this tour! It was the best day in Taormina! From the easy pick up and drop off to the amazing staff and delicious food - all of it was perfect! We were picked up right at port in a small van with our group and another group going to a nearby location. The small bus was comfortable with AC. We made one bathroom stop on the way at a gas station. Our guide Andrea was awesome! He was very informative and funny! The cookies he passed out were delicious, it was nice local touch! Once we got to Taormina we were taken through the adorable town and over to the restaurant to get started on pasta and pizza making! We were given some coffee, highly recommend the cappuccino! It was delicious! The staff at the restaurant that taught the pasta making class were great, so interactive! After some hard work we got take a break with a beautiful table set up, the location views are breathtaking!! We got some bread, cheese and fruit yo munch on with some wine of course. All delicious!! After that, it was on to the pizza making! You then make your own pizza and they let us try some of the pasta too! Lunch came with more wine that we all partook in together as a group. Andrea joined us which was fun! After all the food we got some free time to roam around the amazing town of Taormina! Definitely recommend this tour!! You will not be disappointed!!
