Ocean Creatures Masterpieces - My wife and I took the 7/13/24 class with Luke, and it was great! He was a fantastic teacher. Fortunately we were party of a small group and he took his time with all of us. We had a lot of fun learning how to make masterpieces of our King Crab and Halibut. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Sitka!

A Local who loved the Class - I live full time in Sitka and have dabbled in local art. The one thing that I really wanted to learn about was how to achieve the different colors on the metal using heat. The CNC machine that cut out the blanks was very interesting. The class took us through a very logical progression, with breaks to explain the next step. Loved the results. You end up with new knowledge, time using your hands and a great piece of metal art.

We got to go across the street to the Sitka national historic park after our metal class…and then the shuttle took us back from there. Very fun day.

Unique Experience - We booked the class as an excursion off our cruise ship via Viator. Communication leading up was great. It was very informative and artistic, plus you get a one of a kind Alaskan souvenir to take home. Highly recommend if you want to do something away from the crowded tourist destinations.
