Lovely Lunch - We met the Cesarina, Maria, at her home in Alberobello. We took a trip to the local market to buy typical products, fruits and vegetables. We also took a small walking tour together through the town, stopping at a few area churches. We returned to Maria's home where Maria proceeded to prepare a lovely lunch consisting of homemade orrecchieti, focaccia, panzerota and a gelato for dessert. Maria and her husband were most hospitable and it was a real treat to be welcomed into their home!

Scam! Do not book this - Scam! We signed up for a "Market Tour and Cooking Class in Alberobello". Cesarine sent the address to meet, and it was a different location in Martina Franca, 20 minutes away from Alberobello and the woman said no, there is no market tour. Cesarine has refused to return our money and has not given an explanation as to why they will not refund our money. We paid 238 euro for a market tour and cooking class and we got neither of them.
