Trullo Sovrano - The largest trullo in the town is called Trullo Sovrano. This two-storey building is used as a museum and it is possible to visit the interior, furnished according to the taste of the period, reconstructed through the testimonies of the older inhabitants of Alberobello.
Trullo Sovrano is located in the northern part of Alberobello, behind the Church of Santi Medici Cosma e Damiano. Highly recommend Pugliamare! - One of the highlights of my time in Puglia! I joined the tour in Bari. We were well looked after all day by Alessandra who made sure everyone was catered and cared for. Our driver and the guides in Matera and Alberobello were also excellent, very knowledgeable and patient with the group.

wonderful tour! - The tour was really very nice and informative, among the wonders of Alberobello and Matera! The guides, transportation and overall day were really great.
If you come to Puglia, this tour is a beautiful way to discover two UNESCO destinations. I highly recommend it!

A great experience for a 1 day tour - The guides on both tours were very informative and gave great answers to any of our questions . They explained and pointed out so many interesting sites. The time given was ideal and allowed us to enjoy what turned out to be a very long day but well worth it.

Beautiful places but too ambitious for 1 day - All in all this was a great tour. Our tour guide Francesco was the best guide we've ever had and he truly loved sharing his knowledge with us. We started in Poglinano a mare so it was a really long day with lots of driving and walking. This tour is not for people who can't walk long distances. In hindsight, I think this tour is a bit too long. By the time we got back 10 hours later we were exhausted & wish we'd done each town separately.

Great tour - Brilliant trip getting to see two amazing places! Our tour guide provided lots of information about both locations. It was a long day though with having to go to Bari to collect the guide and other guests.

you driver was insensitive to his riders - The location was great- the travel to get there was awful, our driver parked far away up and down hills to get to the tour which was also up and down hills.
Every other driver parked in the lot near the location. He gave us no information and we did not even know we were going to meet someone else and a whole group that would do the tour.

BAD TOUR GUIDE - Great places to visit, however, not impressed with our tour guide Maria? She was often muddled, had no idea about how to use the audio system which wasted so much time and certainly didn’t read the group as presentation was more for a school group. It was an extremely hot day which was testing. A few walked off on their own and looked around. The bus driver was excellent

Hot and long day - Unfortunately the weather was extremely hot. Matera tour was worse because of it. I wish we had gone into the caves and spent more time there. Alberobello saved the trip because it was so cool. The commentary for Alberobello was much much better than that for Matera.

No as advertised - The tour guide was great but we expected the tour to be small and on a minivan like stated. Instead it was on a large coach bus and had around 20 people. Don’t be fooled it is not a minivan! Also expect a lot of walking in Matera. We don’t mind but a lot of other people struggled.
