Starting at an altitude of 1950 meters, you leave the crowded square of the refuge to begin the climb along the dirt path; you can admire the landscapes from different points of view seeing them gradually change and, except for the wind, in total silence. Speaking of wind it is recommended to bring a towel to cover your nose and mouth, even if the dust does not rise so much. You arrive at an altitude of 2700 meters in an ideal position to see the highest vents and, starting from the Valle del Bove, the plains of the southeastern area. Finally, after the fatigue of the climb and the break in the "lunar" plain, Gino proposed a fun descent along a fun little trail in the black desert.
