Etna tribe: Etna nature and flavours trip. Beautiful experience! - Picked up on time by Claudio. We had a small group, 4 people and therefore a kind of private tour. Very friendly and nice Guide who knew everything not only about Mount Etna but also about the area. A lava cave viewed and then a walk through parts of Mount Etna. How beautiful to see and the context that is given makes it even more beautiful. Then a tasting in Enoteca dell'etna and that was the icing on the cake. Local products in a beautiful ambiance. Very rewarding.

Excellent trip - To start with our tour guide Francesco was excellent and very knowledable in topic of Mount Etna and surrounding wild life. He was very friendly and helpful. Told us many interesting stories about local life and more. Etna walking tour was full of beatifull sightseens - great for pictures :) All safety measures were taken. The local food, wine and beverages tasting was a great addition to the trip. We are planning to order from them as it was unique to the Etna location. And tasty. Overall highly recommended.

Mount Etna visit from Catania - I had a wonderful time on the tour. We had six travellers, two couples and two solo travellers as part of the group. Angelo was a wonderful guide, who looked after the group well. I added the cable car and 4x4 drive to 2,900m and found that the view from the craters was exceptional and well worth the money.

Amazing tour with Eduardo! - Our guide was Eduardo and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. His passion and knowledge of Etna, the facts and information he gladly shared with us were truly captivating and made the tour even more fascinating. Eduardo was professional, friendly, helpful and always ready and willing to answer our questions. Highly recommend!

A highly recommended excursion to get to know the Etna and its local cuisine - We were completely satisfied with the tour. Lorenzo was a super tour guide friendly and could answer numerous questions as well as convey a lot of information about the Etna, its area and its people. The tour started with the Etna, here we could decide whether we wanted to go up by train and an off-road bus, where there was a separate tour with a volcanologist at about 3000m altitude (this optionally incurs separate costs) or we wanted to explore the area a little further down with Lorenzo. We chose the former. Afterwards we continued with Lorenzo to a lava cave where we were told how it was formed. And then to a fine local restaurant where we had a wine tasting, including oil and one or the other Sicilian food which was really very good! The food tasted so good to us that we ordered an extra sausage and cheese plate and bought one or the other liqueur and cold cuts as a souvenir for home.
We loved the atmosphere during the tour. Everywhere you were warmly welcomed and accompanied and had enough time for the respective activities.

Great trip - Amazing trip, Giuseppe was a great guide.
The only negative thing is the price for the optional 3000m trip. It was 78€/person which for just a cable ride, a short bus trip and 40 mins walking with a guide is too much in my opinion.

High up in the clouds - We took optional cable car ride (plus bus ride and volcano guide), which took us to a higher elevation, closer to the peak. Views from the top were magnificent, including the craters. After Mt. Etna tour, tasting at the local farm of different wines, olive oils, honey and spirits was great. Cheese and salumi platter (extra charge) was delicious.

Do not hire this tour. - If you are a family of 3+, better to get a taxi to the Etna park and hire the excursions there. We were 4 and spent 600 USD to get to the highest point of Etna (2900m). For what it is included, it doesn't make any sense to hire the tour. They only drive you to the park and then explain a few things that you can read anywhere. Tour guide was nice.

Poor customer attention - Started said that at the end I was not able to do the activity because after few minutes we started the trip from catania my child became sick. So we have to stop before arriving to monte etna and take a taxi back to Catania (€45). We kindly ask for a refund (also partial) they answer said bla bla bla..we can offer a 30% discount on another activity if you still are in Sicilia..poor assistance poor customer attention
