- Fattoria Lavacchio BIO Winery - Enjoy a tour and tasting at Fattoria Lavacchio, an ancient Tuscan farm known for its organic and biodynamic agriculture and production of low-sulphite wines as well as olive oil.
Visiting one of our vineyards, you will learn about how we care for the grapes as well as our experience of wine making. We will also tell you about the history of the Estate, which dates back to before the 1700s and boasts a link to the Strozzi family.
You will then explore our ancient cellars and discover the special requirements and techniques of creating our natural wines.
Then enjoy your tasting of our wines including Chianti Rufina DOCG and its Riserva wines.
You may also choose to follow your tasting with a wine-pairing lunch, dinner or truffle hunting package from June to November.

We are located in the midst of the iconic and traditional Chianti hills, offering stunning views. Fattoria Lavacchio is only 18 km from Florence, where we employ Organic and Biodynamic farming practices across the entire estate.
When visiting our vineyards, you’ll gain insights into our nurturing methods for the grapes, and our journey as organic producers of low-sulfite and sulfite-free wines. We’ll share anecdotes about the Estate’s rich history, dating back to before the 1700s, including its connection to the Strozzi family. Following this, you’ll have the chance to explore our time-honored cellars, understanding the unique demands and methods behind the creation of our acclaimed ‘perfect organic’ wines.
The tour concludes with a tasting of our wines, ranging from natural sparkling varieties, traditional Chianti DOCG, and a limited Riserva, capped off with our Extra virgin olive oil paired with freshly prepared breads.
