Nice Trip - Very enjoyable tour but PLEASE fix the speakers on the bus. While Luca was telling us about the places, you could t understand anything because the sound was so bad. Everything else was enjoyable, especially San Gimignano.

Good for someone with limited time in Tuscany. - Great tour - Emma, Patricia and Claudio did a fantastic job!! I travelled with my husband and our 2 teenage kids. Our day trip started in Siena with 1&1/2 hour of walking tour (I don’t remember the walking tour guide name but she was fantastic too). We then stopped at a winery and had an excellent time tasting wines and had a great lunch too! Next stop was San Gimignano - another beautiful town on top of hill and with cool views of Tuscan country side. Last stop was Pisa - it was close to sunset, as it’s December, but still got good pictures. Overall I think it was money well spent for me and my family. We could not spend more than 2 days in Florence and with this day trip we at least got a chance to see 3 additional towns in Tuscany.

This was an amazing trip... - This was an amazing trip and well worth the entire day. The staff were very helpful and amazing from beginning to end. There were many reviews that indicated that you spent a lot of time in the car which almost made me not book this. However, I’m glad I ignored those reviews as I felt that the pace of this was perfect for a family with kids, the tasting, and the lunch were superb. This was the best wine I’ve ever had, and the lunch was eaten even by small children, which is hard to make sure that a meal can satisfy all tastes the time and peace was short, but it felt like that was all you needed to at least see the areas overall this was a great experience and I would do it all over again highly recommend

Good trip - The tour… and the guides and driver… were excellent! My only negative was that we arrived in Pisa when it was dark (not to mention the heavy rain that was not your fault!!!). My suggestion is that during the winter months you eliminate San Gimignano (a dead town with no Italian daily life) and go directly to Pisa…. As we all know, the Tower is a must-see!

Lots of History, little hospitality! - We were on a large tour bus with others that spoke different languages. The guide would explain in 3 different languages which were difficult to understand. All instruction was given on the bus and was unclear at times. The local guide in Sienna was also difficult to understand. We had almost no interaction with the guide after checking in. The trip was packed full of history and information but a little guidance within the city would have been helpful. There was a lot of walking. The wine experience was great, food was good but overall a sales pitch to get you to buy wine.

Don't go in winter if you want to see Pisa in daylight - If you're going on this tour primarily for Pisa and you're going during winter, I would consider going with another company. They chose to make Pisa the last stop (even though the itinerary has it listed in reverse) which means we got there after sunset at around 5:15 and the complex was already dark. The front of the tower was lit up but it was hard to make out details and there was a glare from the spotlights in my pictures. The rest of the complex was mostly unlit. Moreover, because we got there so late, tickets to the Cathedral were already sold out so we couldn't go inside even though besides the tower, this was the main highlight of the complex. Even the tour guides highly recommend we go inside but again, we couldn't. The other thing was we had been walking all day (I think I had walked 7 miles by then) so even though I would have normally climbed the tower, I was too tired at that point. If this had been in the morning, I definitely would have climbed it. Siena was a highlight of this tour. I did the guided tour and our tour guide was super nice and knowledgeable, and it was very cool to be immersed in the history there. San Gimignano was...fine; cool to see briefly but there was really nothing there but shops and no one to direct us to any points of interest or explain any notable history. The winery was also just fine but like San Gimignano, it felt like we spent too long there when we could have gotten to Pisa sooner. Instead of having some guy sell me wine for an hour, I would much rather prefer seeing Pisa with some daylight and possibly even be able to go into the Cathedral.

Bus broke down in Siena... - Bus broke down in Siena so they had to send replacement. Broke down again after San Gimignano but eventually left after 40 minutes, but caused us to arrive in Pisa by dark, and the tower was already closed.

Spend all day on a bus! - Time management was awful. No more than 1hr in any town, so you don’t have time to do anything. Spent two hours at a winery lunch where tour company gets a kick-back from what you buy. That is why we spent two hours there. 10hr trip with 6hr on a bus.. Never again.
