An Unforgettable Hike with Amazing Views - This was such a beautiful day, one that I’ll remember for the rest of my life! I came to Sicily on my own to explore, and hiking with Fabio felt like hiking with a friend — one who is kind, super intelligent (his expertise in the geological and cultural history of the Etna region blew me away), and witty. I was the only person on the trekking tour this day, and since I hike a lot back home, he took me to Etna Nord for a more challenging route. I could tell he really cared about making sure I had fun and felt comfortable the whole time. He’ll definitely make sure to do that with you should you book this tour! I loved learning about the flora, fauna, and geological phenomenon of this landscape from such a passionate guide like Fabio. The lava cave was also really cool to wrap up the day. Definitely book this tour, you won’t regret it!

We had a FANTASTIC experience with our guide Fabio!! Defo a highlight of our trip! - We had a FANTASTIC experience with our guide Fabio on the "From Taormina/Giardini Naxos: Etna Immersive Trek & Tasting" tour. We got lucky and it was only the 2 of us and him. From the start, he was very polite, fun and communicative. He spoke very good English too and was passionate about geology, flora and fauna, history, local knowledge and travel. On the way, he described a lot of interesting sights for us. He invited us for a typical Sicilian bkfast (Granita with Brioche) at a local coffee shop and then took us to the Volcano area. We stopped for scenic pics and, while walking on this wonderful landscape, we learned so much about the trees, plants, animals, minerals in the ground, rock formations, interesting facts about Etna, lava and past eruptions, customs of the locals, etc, smelling and tasting plants and flowers. Then we went up to the locally famous line of smaller craters and saw them from the top with the big Etna around. Then a 3 course yummy lunch after which we visited a hotel almost totally destroyed and buried by the last lava eruption around 2003 and finally we went down a lava tunnel for a grand finale! Loved it! We totally recommend Fabio!
