Depart from Naples - Visit Pompeii the archeological site - Drive the coast and arrive to Sorrento

Stazione Napoli Centrale - Meet and greet our team and the other travellers in Naples and travelby private bus/minivan towards our first stop Pompeii, the UNESCO world Heritage destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m of ashes and pumice in the eruption of the Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.

Pompeii Archaeological Park - In Pompeii you will have free time to explore the ruins at your own peace ( entry ticket included ) or organize with your tour leader a 2h guided tour with a professional local guide.

Sorrento Coast - The trip will continue to Sorrento, a wonderful pearl on the Amalfi coast overlooking the bay of Naples where our accommodation is located.
Once in Sorrento, after you all have checked in your accommodation, your guide will take you for an orientation walk around the town center pointing out the local products and the best places to eat. In the evening you have the choice to spend time on your own or join your guide to a local restaurant for an optional delicious dinner and to a club later on for some drinks.

Marina Piccola - After dinner, end the day by the beach next to the old marina with a drink in your hand while enjoying the gulf of Naples at night.

OPTIONAL BOAT TOUR TO CAPRI ISLAND

Sorrento - This is your free day in Sorrento where you have the opportunity to relax by the pool or at the beach, explore more of the area of do some shopping of local products like hand made leather sandals or fine linen clothes. Meet the group and the tour leader in the afternoon and head all together to a spectacular and famous natural pool of emerald water set among the ancient Roman ruins with coastal views to enjoy the sunset, the last swim of the day and a drink. Spend the evening as you prefer.

Sorrento - On your free day ask our team about for all the amazing optional activities you can do including a trip to the famous Capri island for a visit to Anacapri, where you can take the chairlift up to the top of Mt. Solaro for a breathtaking 360-degree view of the island, a visit to the Blue Grotto with fantastic crystal blue colors, explore Capri town and finally relax on the beach. Back to the camping village in the afternoon.

DAY TOUR TO AMALFI COAST - AMALFI AND POSITANO

Amalfi Coast - Our third day is all for the Amalfi coast and its wonders. The panorama from the narrow and windy road of the Amalfi coast will be terrific. During the journey to Amalfi, we will pass by the Islands of Galli, the fishing villages of Furore and Praiano, famous for its crystal-clear seas, the encompassing views and its cathedral located 365m above the sea level.

We will stop in the town of Amalfi for about 2h to allow you to discover the town at your own peace and its famous cathedral, lie down at the beach and have a bite on one of the typical shop selling fresh local food. We will board again after lunch for the splendid town of Positano with its cascade of colourful houses, clinging magically to earth. Its pastel buildings form a vertical wonderland. Narrow, threadlike streets provide boutiques, cafes, restaurants and bars.

Positano - In Positano we will stay 3h to allow you to relax on the beach, go for a swim and discover this little gem of the Amalfi coast. We will return back our campsite at approx 6:00 pm.

Sorrento - Our last evening in Sorrento spend time on your own or join your guide at a restaurant in Sorrento for the best pizza of the Amalfi coast and later for some drinks.

TOUR OF NAPLES

Naples - It’s time to say goodbye to the wonderful Amalfi coast to return back to Naples. You can’t leave the South of Italy without taking at least a small peek at Naples, home of the Italian pizza and Italian customs. We will stop 4h in one of the areas of Naples famous for its shopping and monuments. Your guide will take you for an orientation walk and will show you the places of interests; San Carlo theatre, Plebiscito square, Umberto I ‘s gallery and where to get the most delicious hezelnut coffee. You will be than free to walk around the city with our handy Italy on a Budget maps and stop for lunch in a traditional pizzeria to finally taste the best Neapolitan pizza! The tour will end right after lunch.
Continue your adventure on our 7 day Discovery Sicily by taking the ferry from Naples or take a train to Florence for “ the Best of Tuscany “ .
