The last stop of the tour will be in Ravello, the terrace of the Amalfi Coast to visit the lovely and peaceful village. -
Parco Regionale dei Monti Lattari - On the way back to Naples we’ll stop on the top of the Lattari Mountains to take pictures of the incredible and unique landscape of Mount Vesuvio and and an overall of the bay of Naples.

Excellent trip - highly reccomend! - Having not been to Italy before we didn’t know what to expect. We wanted to see the Analfi coast and we had such an amazing day! Umberto who organized our day was great and very flexible.Eugenio, our driver, was great! We went to Ravello and Amalfi where we got explore the town a bit. Then we had lunch in Prainia and then drove through Positano and Sorrento. We went to the lemon cello factory for a tasting and some shopping. It was our favorite day of our 10- day trip!! Highly recommend!!!! 5-stars

Amazing - We had a private tour with Umberto for 8 of us. He did an amazing job! He’s been communication with me for months on this trip! He was easy to reach, spoke English, and was a great guide! We did Pompeii and we had a private guide which made that experience sooo much better! Julia was amazing and so knowledgeable. After 2 hours, we headed to Positano and had an amazing lunch with an amazing view! Umberto navigated those winding roads with perfection. He personalized our tour so we had time to shop a little and stopped at a Limoncello factory!! Amazing day! If you’re going to Naples BOOK a tour with him you will not be disappointed! Thank you Umberto for making wonderful memories with us! Ciao until next time .

Perfect - We had a wonderful day exploring the Amalfi Cost with our driver Raffaele who expertly and safely navigated the narrow winding roads and lots of traffic! Umberto was available right from the point we booked and was on hand during our stay. He offered advice on how to make the best use of our time and ensuring we saw the main sights. He even made a point of meeting us in Positano when he was out on another tour which was lovely. We would highly recommend Umberto and his team to experience the best of the Amalfi Coast.

An amazing Amalfi coast trip - I and my husband had an amazing Amalfi coast tour on September 6th with our private guide Umberto. He picked us up near our rented apartment in Sorrento and showed us Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. The whole trip took around 8 hours, we walked along city centers of Positano and Amalfi, then he booked a lunch for us in a very nice restaurant in Ravello with a breathtaking view, and after the lunch we visited gardens of Villa Rufolo, Duomo Di Ravello and had wine testing. His driving skills were amazing, such a narrow and serpentine road was absolutely no problem to him. Umberto is very friendly and experienced driver and guide, he customized this trip according to our requests, my husband has knee problems and staircase is a big challenge for him. In spite of that, the whole trip in these mountains’ cities was as flat as possible with almost no staircases at all. We are very thankful to Umberto, his is really the best !

Private Transfer - Simply amazing! Umberto was very nice, professional and easy to work with. With our private transfers, he was always on time and his car always very clean. He also gave excellent suggestions on which places to visit and which restaurants to eat at. Highly recommend!!!!

So wonderful - Our driver Berto was phenomenal! He was waiting for us promptly on time, was very communicative, and I was highly impressed with his driving skills through some of the traffic situations. He took us to all the must see places and it was a beautiful experience. Amalfi Coast was breathtaking! Since he is local to the Amalfi Coast, he was very knowledgeable and gave great information about the history as well. It was my favorite excursion on the 10 day cruise! I felt safe and secure the whole time and we were back to the ship well ahead of time (about an hour earlier, it was not stressful)

Amalfi Coast tour - My friend recommended Umberto and his company for our private tour. And I can see why. Prior to going he worked with us to develop what we wanted to do and see while we were in Sorrento. He gave recommendations and suggestions. We went up and down the Amalfi Coast and he made reservations for a seaside lunch. We had a lovely day. The Amalfi Coast is very windy and I I prepared with taking Dramamine however that wasn't enough. I was feeling sick and Umberto was prepared LOL ( my family was grateful.
Umberto also picked us up from the airport and took us to our Airbnb. He made us a dinner reservation because we didn't know where to go and we're tired from the travel. So that was very nice as well. He also took us back the train for us to to grab the high-speed train back to Rome. I highly recommend using his company and him!

Best Amalfi Tour Guide - A memorable experience! - My husband and I did a full-day private tour of the Amalfi Coast yesterday with Discovery Salerno, and Umberto Macinante was the most amazing guide. He not only drove us from Sorrento to Ravello and Positano, but he pointed out interesting features we never would have seen on our own. We also learned some history of the area and met some local friends of his. We had time to explore the towns, and he booked a wonderful lunch for us on the way. We felt like we were with a friend all day and not just a professional tour guide. Though he’s been doing this for15 years, he made us feel special!

Great experience Amalfi coast and Pompeii - I just did 2 day trip with Discovery Salernto. One day we went to Amalfi coast and second day visited Pompeii and Mount Vasuvius. Umberto is very professional, he kept us on time everywhere. His van is luxurious, able to fit our luggage and very clean. He picked us from train station and dropped back. He took us to all the right stops. We enjoyed lunch under lemon trees while looking at the ocean that Umberto made reservation for us. I left all the stuff in van that I didn’t needed while walking/hiking. He also arranged for Pompeii guide Giulia who was very knowledgeable and passionate. Giulia kept us very involved and made sure we saw most of thing in two hours that I had for Pompeii visit. I felt like that I was traveling with a family member showing us around. Thanks Umberto for making our trip memorable.

Amalfi Coast - We had four beautiful days spent on the sunny Amalfi Coast. Umberto and Francesco supported us with the airport transfers as well as the Amalfi coast day tour . The service was precise , great conversations , interesting stopovers to local businesses , knowledgeable and relevant travel advice . The hidden surprises are actually the smaller localities such as Scala or Atrani in between the well known landmark localities ( Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi Ravello). Each place on the coast has its own charm, architectural character and history to be discovered. Thank you for all your support Umberto !!! We hope to return soon and continue our discovery !!!
