- Amalfi - The tour begins from the designated meeting point in the morning, with Amalfi as the first destination. The drive to Amalfi takes approximately 90 to 120 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Upon arrival, there is free time to explore the historic “Marine Republic” (or Republic of the Sea). Visitors can admire the Cathedral of Sant’Andrea, dating back to the eleventh century, renowned for its stunning golden and luminous decorations. Stroll through the maze of narrow alleys, perfect for shopping, purchasing souvenirs, or enjoying an ice cream. For lunch, options along the coast are available, and the driver can assist in selecting a delightful dining spot. (Sampling limoncello liqueurs at a local shop or factory is highly recommended.)
- Grotta dello Smeraldo - The Emerald Grotto is a highlight of the Amalfi Coast, located in the picturesque bay of Conca dei Marini. Discovered in 1932 by a local fisherman, this sea cave is famous for its turquoise waters that cast an emerald green glow when sunlight filters through an underwater crevice. Inside, the cave is adorned with stalagmites, stalactites, and unique “artworks” sculpted by nature over time. An underwater nativity scene, crafted from ceramic by artisans from nearby Vietri, adds to its charm. Access to the Emerald Grotto is exclusively by rowboat from the cave entrance. (A visit to the ceramic factory is also recommended.)
- Passeggiata A Ravello - A captivating walk through the medieval village perched atop a cliff offers breathtaking views. There is ample free time to explore the scenic balcony overlooking the coast, situated 1,000 feet above the sea between Minori and Castiglione. Visitors can also explore Villa Rufolo, a venue that annually hosts artists, singers, and celebrities from around the globe during the Ravello Festival.
