Visit one of Italy’s most esteemed museums and explore its extensive collection of Italian and European art. Situated in the magnificent Bourbon Palace of Capodimonte, once a summer residence and hunting lodge for the kings of the Two Sicilies, the museum showcases Neapolitan paintings and various artworks. Marvel at the Farnese Collection, featuring masterpieces by Tiziano (including portraits of the Farnese family and the Danae), the Crucifixion by Masaccio, and other works by El Greco, Parmigianino, Bellini, Brueghel, Botticelli, Correggio, Guido Reni, Carracci, and Michelangelo.

• Capodimonte is closed every Wednesday, 1st January and 25th December. 24 and 31 December will be open only until 2:00 pm.
