The Capodimonte National Museum, opened in 1957 in Naples, showcases significant works of Italian art with a special emphasis on Neapolitan painters from the 15th to the 19th century. Following a significant renovation, it reopened in 1995 replicating the original design of the royal residence of Charles I of Bourbon, where the Farnese collection was housed, and now hosts prominent exhibitions.

Featured masterpieces include works by Caravaggio, Andy Warhol, pieces from the Baroque and Renaissance periods, Modern Art, Raffaello, as well as the Royal Palace.
