Capri - an amazing experience with an amazing guide !!!! Best excursion ever !! - Amazing experience !!! Our tour guide, Sylvia, provided the best day out of our European vacation!! Sylvia was energetic, kind, and had everyone’s best interest in mind throughout the day. Still reliving the memorable time we had in Capri and wishing we never left. The taxi organized from our cruise port to the harbor was clean and was driven by a very professional driver. The boat taken from Napoli to the island of Capri was beautiful and our captain did an amazing job. We always felt safe. Near Capri, we experienced the green grotto and the famous arch!! In Capri, we were given options of how we could spend our day and so glad we chose to explore Anacapri, taste limoncello, try local treats, spend some time shopping, & experience the chairlift to Mt. Solaro. The BEST views I have ever experienced and so much fun!! There was always great communication between Sylvia and the guests. Sylvia absolutely made the day a memorable one and my boyfriend and I are forever grateful! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Amazing time in Capri! - We booked this tour through Shore Excursions. It was undeniably the best excursion and the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Silvia was very personable and on top of everything. She met us at the meeting place a short walk from the cruise port and everything went smoothly. The boat ride was spectacular with amazing views. We got to swim / snorkel in the beautiful water on the way to Capri, where we had lunch at a restaurant that Silvia had arranged for us. We spent a few hours in Capri (we spent this at the beach swimming), and headed back to our ship with plenty of time. We highly recommend this tour. The boat was very beautiful, clean, with a bathroom on board. We traveled with my entire family, from age 12 to grandparents ages 70, and everyone had a blast!

Day in Capri - Giusy gave us an excellent day in Capri!!! Capri is a very beautiful city, to visit once in a lifetime. Finally, Giusy is the best and she looks like Nelly Furtado.

A nice day in Capri for a Mexican! - The trip was very nice, took a lot of good pictures. Wish we could have spent a bit more time in Capri land. Josèphine and Carmine were great hosts! Jos took me awesome pictures!

Great Day Trip to Capri - Great day trip to Capri! Staff was nice, helpful and thoughful. Great boat driver, getting us up close to the bays and rocks, and navigating through boat traffic. Guide was extra helpful in navigating Capri harbour town to help us make the most of our time there. Also helpful in explaining local superstitions/luck symbols. Capri itself was too crowded but the boat ride around it and swim were fantastic! Had enough time to see parts of the island and shop/eat gelato. Boat was also comfortable...nice seating upfront and behind, good storage below deck with a bathroom. A bit more expensive than a tour group that meets & takes the ferry together, but very worth the extra $$ for the private boat. Would highly recommend this day tour!

Didn’t live up to our expectations - Did not live up to our expectations. -The boat wasn’t big enough for all 11 passengers (plus Giuseppe and Maria). -I asked for towels after swimming after being told through email they would be provided. It seemed like a big inconvenience and I was eventually given 1 towel to share for the 4 of us. -In other reviews people had mentioned drinks like Aperol spritz, but we were each only given a tiny cup of Prosecco. -The biggest disappointment was the Faraglioni rocks, which I specifically booked the tour to drive through. We drove by the rocks, pausing for no more than a few minutes to take pictures, and then kept going. Another passenger asked Giuseppe if we would drive through on the way back and he said yes, but then we asked Maria later after our time on the island, and she said no, we’re just going straight back. -Maria told us that if we all agreed to go to the restaurant, it would be a fast way into the island and we wouldn’t have to wait in a long queue. However, we had to first wait in the boat (in the hot sun) for the people from the restaurant to come get us which was about 15 minutes. We all had to climb from our boat into a little inflatable dingy where we barely fit, getting very wet in the process. When we got to the restaurant it was a beautiful view and the food was great, but they were very pushy. The waiter stood next to our table and pressured us to order quickly, even when we asked for more time to decide. -After lunch, we were given free time to explore the island. We arrived back a few minutes early, so we tried to quickly reapply some sunscreen. Maria said it was time to go instead of giving us just one more minute, just so we could stand and wait for 5 for minutes for the transfer. It was little things like this that showed Maria simply did not care about our experience. -Overall we had a great day in Capri but we were expecting so much more from this tour. I read so many review of people raving about their guide and skipper, but we did not have that experience at all. Giuseppe barely spoke to us, because he did not speak much English. He was just there to drive the boat. I could not even call Maria a guide because she did not give us information for most of the trip and she really didn’t interact with us much at all.

Worst tour I took in Italy - Horrible experience. Our boat was stopped by the coast guard. We waited up to an hour in the bay while coast guard, our tour guide and our captain argued and passed paperwork back and forth. No one communicated to us what was wrong. Next thing you know we are being escorted to the Capri marina where the authorities took our captain. I found out later that he did not have a license to operate the boat. We ended up purchasing a ferry ticket to get us back to the mainland safely.
