This stunning color results from the cave’s ideal positioning, the small entrance, and the sunlight reflecting off the sea. Due to its narrow entrance, the cave is closed to the public during bad weather or high tides.

Two of the primary attractions in the Naples area are Capri in the Bay of Naples and Positano on the Amalfi Coast. Both destinations are conveniently accessible by fast ferry in a short amount of time. A local guide will meet visitors at the main port of Naples, and together they will travel to Capri by ferry. The tour begins with a visit to the Blue Grotto, weather permitting. If the weather does not allow, a shared boat ride around the island will be arranged instead. Afterward, visitors will return to the main port of Capri to catch the ferry to Positano. In Positano, guests can enjoy sunbathing or exploring the charming alleys and shopping for stylish white linen. Once the tour concludes, a driver will transport guests back to Naples.
