Gather at a designated location to meet your guide before beginning your journey by car or minivan to the historic Roman city of Pompeii, nestled at the base of Mount Vesuvius. Your guided tour of the ruins will offer glimpses of ancient paintings and inscriptions, walkways lined with elevated sidewalks, the central plaza, grand bathhouses, temples and elaborately decorated villas. Afterward, journey to the legendary town of Sorrento before embarking on a 25-minute jetfoil ride to Capri. Upon arriving at Marina Grande, conditions permitting, you might be able to visit the renowned Blue Grotto (optional). Your guide will then arrange your transportation by funicular or minibus to Capri Town where you’ll have the opportunity to explore ‘La Piazzetta’, its shops and landmarks. CAPRI’S BLUE GROTTO, famed globally for its vivid blue hue, can’t be accessed in the event of south westerly and mistral winds. The cost to tour the Blue Grotto is approximately 30 Euros per person.
