Charming place, recommended, top guide - Very charming place, within an hour you travel from the Renaissance to the Second World War. An important piece to understand the link between Naples above and below. The highly competent guide, Stefania, made the visit particularly compelling and fascinating

So important! So fascinating! - Absolutely worth visiting! The history goes back so far--Roman aqueducts! A tunnel for a King to escape protestors in 1850s! But an even more fascinating story is the shelter given to regular Neapolitans in these caves and tunnels during WW2, when 55% of the city was destroyed by British and American planes in less than 2 years. Its amazing what can be done with ingenuity, and the hardy citizens who spent months hiding underground. A truly awesome fact: the excavation was all privately funded and carried out by volunteers. This is a crucial part IMHO of any visit to this very human city.

Discovery of an unexpected Naples - Really very interesting, amazing to find out how there is a city in the city, to think about how people could live underground during the air strikes was very touching and also the explanations of the historical part of how it all started was really interesting. Our guide really helpful, clear and simple in explanations. An experience that I recommend

Galleria Borbonica, a blast from the past - The visit to the gallery was very interesting. The guide was prepared and will describe with emphasis and participation what he told. We did the standard route but the other routes also looked very nice.
