High And Low tour was fantastic! - We had a great time and ate lots of wonderful food while learning a lot about the city! Chiara, our guide, was perfect - attentive to what interested us and answering our many questions about both the food and the neighborhoods. We highly recommend this tour!

Eating and walking your way through Naples - doesn't get much better than that - This was our second tour with Culinary Backstreets, and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Deborah, led us on a flavorful and colorful exploration of two very different feels of Naples. As a Neapolitan herself, she combined her food knowledge with her personal knowledge of and love for the city. Of course the food was wonderful - it's Naples, how can it not be? And it was plentiful. We even had to pass on one stop because we were getting too full. Fair warning - this one has a lot of walking, though you literally start high (on a hilltop) and end low (by the water front). Good for working off the calories and rebuilding your appetite for dinner.

All the food & drink you can take in Naples! - We had a wonderful tour with Sonia. We had a great group of people and Sonia made everyone feel at ease. She has a history background, which was a wonderful addition to the local food knowledge she shared. Loved every food stop and especially wandering around the Spanish Quarter. Thanks again for another great backstreets moment! We thoroughly recommend them for a unique perspective in your travels.

Great Intro to Naples - I did both the Culinary Backstreets food tours in Naples (a city that has an amazing diversity of fab food). This was my favorite of the two. Got to see the “high” (aka richer/newer) part of Naples—Vomero AND the older section (including the Spanish Quarter). Francesca, a true “napolitana” was a terrific guide who provided all sorts of insights and advice. You won’t be disappointed!

Naples: a delicious, fun and enlightening experience in the real life and food of Naples - Our tour with Chiara was an immersion in Naples, with food as a starting point. We visited a small, family-run restaurant where we were the only foreigners, a cheese shop with a selection from regional cheesemakers (imagine, for example, five types of ricotta), a shop that has been specializing in the must-try classic fried food of Naples, and much more. Chiara also shared with us her native, discerning perspective on history and contemporary life in Naples - architecture, street art, cultural and social initiatives in various neighborhood, etc. This is a unique tour of life as it exists in Naples, with special foods, and the pleasure of Chiara's company. We took Chiara's other food tour of Naple's last year, and enjoyed it so much that we decided to take this tour as well. We highly recommend both.

A very enjoyable experience - Very friendly, excellent guide, very good food! Skip breakfast, you'll get more than you can eat. Nice contrast between uptown (Vomero) and downtown (Spanish Quarter).

Delicious! - We had only one full day to spend in Naples and this was the way to really enjoy it! Our guide Francesca was superlative and took us to over a dozen places--none of us believed we were really able to eat (the best) gelato and all the previous stops...but we did! An astounding assortment of foods and a great way to see a good amount of the city.

Best Naples Food Tour - The tour was amazing, with such a wide variety (and huge quantity) of food to try! I felt we had a great spread of authentic Naples cuisine. Throughout the day, our Tour Guide (Sonia) was incredibly knowledgeable, not only regarding the food we were trying, but also on the city in general. Every neighborhood, dish, and view had an explanation and history, and no questions from us went unanswered. Due to our time in the city, we only had a chance to do this one food tour, however, based on our experience, I can't imagine any other tour could be as great as this one!
