Experience a tour of Vesuvio starting from Naples City Center (Hotel/B&B/Airport/Port/Station) with a two-hour self-guided stop at Vesuvio. Our driver will escort you to the entrance of Vesuvio and will wait to bring you back to Naples after your visit. We can also drop you off at a different location in town if preferred.

Our knowledgeable, English-speaking driver will provide a historical commentary on the volcano, offering a great introduction before you explore the site.

We offer pick-up services from Naples Airport, Central Train Station, Port, and all hotels, B&Bs, or private residences in Naples for your journey to Vesuvio.

Mt. Vesuvius

Ascend to 3,000 feet to enjoy views of Naples and its suburbs. The driver will assist with ticket purchases, after which you can embark on your adventure to the summit of Mt. Vesuvius. You will have approximately an hour and a half to explore this remarkable volcano. Despite its history of violent eruptions, Mount Vesuvius offers stunning views of the surrounding national park. The eruption in AD 79 buried the cities of Pompeii and Ercolano under ash, mud, and lava, causing significant damage but preserving incredible artifacts that can still be seen today. This is a fantastic trip up the stratovolcano, allowing visitors to appreciate both the natural beauty and historical significance.
