This is an excellent opportunity to get a comprehensive view of Naples, from the city centre to the panoramic zone in a short duration. Follow this up with a visit to Pompeii, one of Naples’ most compelling sites, where a professional guide will provide narration. Break for a mid-day meal, and later in the afternoon, proceed to explore Sorrento city. Good tour - The tour was very good. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we had to cut our tour short and missed the Sorrento segment to make sure that we got back to the ship on time.

Pompeii is the highlight - The highlight of the tour was the visit to Pompeii. Our guide was simply excellent, witty and very informative. Naples was good, especially the coffee/pastry stop. We ended up skipping Sorrento as we ran out of steam and decided to return to the ship. We can't comment on that part

Naples & Pompeii - Our tour guide-Elisa was very knowledge and introduced us to many parts of Naples, in the beginning we were a small group of 6. She told us the history and the importance of the many buildings and areas we experienced; we had time to explore on our own. Elisa accompanied us to Pompeii where they added about 20 people to our group of 6. Our driver was good, but I was a bit nervous since he was on his phone texting more than I was comfortable with. Pompeii was very crowded, we only were able to see a very small amount of the property, we never saw the brothels, but the area we did see Elisa was able to explain in great detail. It is very difficult walking in Pompeii and you should definitely wear good walking shoes. It was her 50th birthday and she knew everyone in the tourist area. At the end of about 2 hours, she had us wait in a large group until our name was called and then we walk to a large bus to be transferred back to our ship. I never got to have the lunch nor go to Sorrento since Elisa indicated I would never make it back to my ship on time. The excursion was very good but I wish they would have informed me prior that I could not complete it.

Sorrento tour omitted but not refunded - Naples and Pompeii tour components were fair, not extraordinary. However for Sorrento there was no tour at all. Total joke. We were dropped off by a driver who did not speak English with an audio tour that was designed for use in vehicle, not as a walking tour. The audio repeatedly reset and was no spe iifc to the town of Sorrento. I was given a used earpiece that needed to be inserted into the ear, which was completely unsanitary. The Sorrento experience was definitely not a tour, more like wandering aimlessly in the rain after s paper map disintegrated. The company only provided 2/3 of the package they marketed, with the final 1/3 amounting to transportation only. Look elsewhere for a better tour package.

Pompeii is a must see! - Our tour guide to snd while in Pompeii was very knowledgeable & friendly, did a wonderful job!
If based solely on her iI’d give a 5 star review. But the young msn who took over at lunch time forgot to tell the driver to pick us up so i had to send several messages to the company, and one of us went looking for the young man.He admitted to having forgot to alert our driver.Things happen, but because it added a bit of stress and added almost a half hour delay, and the stop in Sorento was not what we had hoped for. The map was very confusing, and the area very crowded, so we asked to be picked up a half hour early.

Not given the complete tour purchased - My experience with Naples and Pompeii tour was excellent, unfortunately the Sorrento tour was not. We were dropped off by our wonderful driver Enzo who gave us an audible device for us to use as a guide instead of a person tour guide offered in our package. I was very disappointed since I miss out on many of the attractions expected.

Expensive for average tour - The city of Naples part of this tour is a waste of time. We spent most of the time in traffic and picking up people who only booked Pompei. The Pompei part of the tour was excellent!! Guide was very entertaining. The pizza lunch was delicious, however we sat in the restaurant for an hour and a half while the tour company shuffled people onto different buses who booked different tours, leaving us only 1 hour in Sorrento. A little disappointed since Sorrento is amazing and we would have liked more time. Our guide in Sorrento was friendly and pleasant.

Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento - ehh - Our first stop in Naples was a church, which was a waste of time. It took and hour to drive to Sorrento and back and they only gave us an hour to walk around. This tour is ok if you really want to see each stop and you only have a day, otherwise I'd look elsewhere.

Don't go - Naples was lack luster at best, tour guide was not friendly and staff at Pompei was even worse, Cut our losses and went back early and did not even go to Sorrento. Save your money. Argued with me over what time shil was leaving, didn't care if I got back in time.
