Amazing tour, but be mindful if you’re claustrophobic! - Naples Underground is an absolute must-do if you’re exploring Naples! This tour is like stepping into a time machine, where ancient history comes to life beneath the busy streets. The whole vibe is super cool, and our guide, Alesandro, was amazing! He shared captivating stories about the tunnels and their significance that made the experience even more special.
I booked our reservation on TripAdvisor for the 12 PM tour, which worked perfectly since our flight landed at 10 AM. We had just enough time to make it to the meeting place without feeling rushed, so I’d recommend this timing if you're arriving by air.
However, I want to mention that if you’re claustrophobic, super tall or on the larger side, this might not be the ideal experience for you. Some sections of the tour can feel pretty tight and cramped, so just keep that in mind before diving in. I made a reel on my instagram and YouTube to see what the tight spaces look like, so you can have an idea.
For those who are up for the adventure, prepare for some amazing sights! The dimly lit tunnels, ancient aqueducts, and eerie chambers all combine for a memorable experience. Make sure to wear comfy shoes, because you’ll be doing some walking and navigating around tight spaces.
Overall, I loved this tour and would highly recommend it—just be aware of the space constraints!

Underground tunnels, Spanish quarter is a must. - Our guide in the Spanish quarter of the underground tunnels Augustino was very informative with the details of the history of these tunnels, I was especially intrigued about what went on down here during WW2 and what became of them after. The fact that it was vast yet we only saw 15% as the rest is still completely filled in is totally bewildering and I got one would like to see more when it is revealed

Recommended! - It was a wonderful experience. Tommaso, the boy who guided us, has been able to tell us and involve us throughout the journey with intelligence and sympathy. Recommendation!

A fun squeeze through Naples - Inexpensive yet very memorable excursion. Augustino was an excellent guide and gave the group a fantastic overview of the underground. Yes, there are some very tight spaces to get through, but it’s a lot of fun

Worthwhile tour. Be careful when you reserve online. - Be careful if you order tickets online. We did, and the website somehow changed it to a tour in Italian. We ordered a tour in English. We arrived and were refused a change. My friend speaks Italian so she explained that something happened with the reservation getting changed. There were others that this happened to, many others. We were all given an English tour a couple of hours later. The assistant was so rude. The tour was interesting, but the woman in charge was awful.
