Great fun - We had a really fun trip with our tour guide Maya. There was no obvious advantage to buying skip the line ticket, we bought tickets cash for the next available tour in English. We waited about 20mins, but things were reasonably well organised at the entrance. The kids really enjoyed the eclectic and interesting facts, and the experience as a whole. However I would not recommend this tour if you are claustrophobic or struggle to walk on uneven surfaces. Thank you for a fun 50mins!

Very interesting nit to be missed - One not to be missed. This was fantastic and the underground tunnels were inspiring, learning the history around was extremely informative. The big bonus was the final part of the tour which was amazing.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! - Impressive experience! A real blast from the past! In the underground of Naples at a depth of about 40 meters we crossed narrow tunnels, old tanks used to collect rainwater, spacious tunnels where entire families took refuge during the bombings of the Second World War and finally we observed the remains of the ancient Greek-Roman aqueduct that allowed to collect and distribute drinking water. A special thanks to our guide Massimiliano who was able through his stories to make us relive the feelings of those years now too far away with a pinch of irony and a lot of enthusiasm! You absolutely must go!

Recomended!! - This is a must-see in Napoli! Located in the narrow streets of the old-town , you get to go beneath the surface and explore the aqueducts and bombshelters, with narrow pathways and open halls with beautiful clear water.

Good tour, entertaining - Taught us a lot about the history of napoli and how the greeks/romans built things. The guide knew their stuff. 100 characters lol

Positive experience - We chose to queue without a ticket. Although it may seem long it is actually very smooth, being relatively short tours. At the entrance there are bathrooms. The places are very suggestive, the explanations of the guide (Lucia) were interesting and accessible to everyone. Despite being underground the high ceilings do not make the place particularly claustrophobic, except in certain places, which can still be skipped if deemed necessary. Unfortunately we found a particularly noisy group, which was accentuated by the nature of the place, which tends to amplify the sounds. Overall it was a very positive experience, worth the cost of the ticket.

Naples underground - Lots of information and the guide was very informative and passionate. Acoustics in the tunnels made it tough at times to hear.

Interesting visit but with some flaws - Seeing and learning about the underground of Naples was very interesting but, unfortunately, the groups are large, the high ceilings don't allow us to hear completely what our guide was saying. We missed about 40-50% of the information because of the echoe. The tour should really provide earbuds to the visitors and the guide should be talking in a microphone.

Don’t do this trip - I really don’t understand why this is popular. There isn’t much to see, the tour groups are huge ( 40 people) , the guide didn’t wait for everyone to gather at certain points before sharing his information so we missed it several times. I honestly couldn’t recommend it less. All our other trips in the area have been amazing but this was definitely a miss for me. Save your time and money and do something else - visit Pompeii or Herculaneum if you want history.

Rude and Aggressive Staff - A magnificent historic place is unfortunately damped with quite a lousy service attitude from the whole team, who are (the three of them) uncapable of giving clear and specific instructions or answer basic questions, while presenting very aggressive manners. If you want to avoid such a bad treatment, you may want to do the other Soterranea option, San Lorenzo Maggiore, which lies just in front of this one.
