This is the Pizza Making Experience to do! - This was a fun experience! Chef Andrea and his assistant were very friendly and hospitable. He has a gorgeous outdoor cooking venue in his backyard that was the perfect location for a pizza making class. We got to prepare the dough, which was fun learning the proper technique. Food was delicious and the other couple we met were very nice too. We got to meet Andrea’s family too and learn about his life and pizzeria. Also we had my kids who are 9 and 13 in age, and they loved it too. The dessert Nutella pizza at the end was amazing too! Highly recommend the experience.

A highlight while in Ischia - thank you Andrea! - This pizza making course at Andrea's house was amazing. It was one of the highlights during our Ischia stay for me, my husband, our 13 year old daughter and my mother. The setting of the course in a nice back yard of Andrea's family house is so nice and beautiful and the course and tastings are great. Napolean pizza is now our favorite. We all got very inspired to further develop our pizza talent when returning home.

Wonderfully delicious! - Excellent presentation of the topic and a harmonious small group. Easy to reach on foot from Ischia Porto and no problem with the island bus from other places. The event takes place in a private environment. The meeting point is actually the address given and you are welcome to go through the gate, which was open at the time. The communication was in English, but still very informative for those with little language skills. The pizza and the variants presented were very tasty and easy to replicate. Many thanks to the host and the nice assistant! Greetings Stefan

Amazing experience! - Amazing experience! Andrea welcomed us to his family home and we all created lasting memories. The pizzas we made were of course incredible and we learned so much about the process. Along with learning the art of making Pizza we got a better understanding of Andreas passion for his craft. Wonderful excursion and I highly recommend to everyone.

Unfortunate Mistake - I accidentally booked this experience for the week BEFORE Imarrived in Ischia. The host wanted to work with me, but did not have enough registrants for a class the week I was in Ischia

Disappointed - If only it was sunny that day! I would've given a 1, but since he still invited us over and gave us a copy of the recipe, I boosted it to a 2. Here's the short of it, I hope. Rainy day/evening. Walked 20 minutes to cafe next to his property. Started pouring rain around 6:30. I'm expecting a call/text saying class in cancelled. Nope. I text him at 6:52 letting him know we're next door and wondering if class is still on. He calls me directly apologizing that due to weather, class is cancelled! What? It took me to contact him for this? Was he hoping we were no shows so he wouldn't have to refund our money? Anyways, I asked if we could still get a copy of the recipe. He invites us over, there were 2 women from Germany there hanging out. He did give us the recipe, offered us a drink, but we were hungry and wanted to go eat, so after 10 minutes we left. We get an email from Viator stating that due to the cancellation, we will be receiving a 60% refund! What? Did I get charged 40% to shake his hand and get a copy of the recipe? I contacted him immediately, and here was his response: Hi Baron I spoke to Viator’s customer service explaining what happened. Since it didn’t depend on me there was the possibility of deciding on the refund. I decided for 60% to make it easier for you. But you have to know that I had to pay the person to work, unused ingredients, wasted wood for the oven, plus the time to prepare everything. In these cases I think it should also be understanding towards those who offer a service. But if you don’t agree, don’t worry, I’ll send you all the remaining refund even if I don’t agree at all. Have a Good day Seriously? I have to forfeit $108 (for 2) because your business is weather dependent? I'd like to know how can I start a company where I can charge people money, cancel whatever it is I was going to do and only give you 60% back? I told him he should mention this on his site, however, under Additional Information on his site it states: Confirmation will be received at time of booking This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund This tour/activity will have a maximum of 8 travelers I'll never deal with Viator again, and am disappointed TripAdvisor even allows this business on their site.

“Bad course, bad pizza!” - The pizza course as a couple was disappointing. The explanations were superficial and the instructor seemed more interested in finishing early than teaching. The ingredients were low quality and the end result was far from a real pizza. In general, an experience I do not Recommendation.
