Post your lunch break, you’ll embark on a guided tour of Mt. Vesuvius, travelling up the twisting road up the mountain until the parking spot near the crater. From here, if you wish to reach the summit, you’ll need to leave your vehicle and embark on a moderate 30-minute hike that elevates to nearly 4,200 feet.
