Amazing. With limited time we saw enough! - Giovanni was amazing. We had a wonderful time. Tour was great. With limited time we saw many things.

Geovanni Made Our Day - Giovanni was excellent and very insightful and made our day. He stopped off at brilliant photograph opportunity’s that we would never have known about. The tour itself was brilliant with stunning views of the amalfi coast, a nice time in sorrento and finally some history with the ruins of pompei.
I full recommend this tour and thank you to Giovanni again for all his knowledge and thoughtfulness throughout the day.

Excellent small group tour. - Our driver/guide made our excursion perfect. Giovanni provided our small group of 4 with much information. He was so kind, considerate, and helpful. He took photos for us and gave us just enough time to see what we wanted. We were 100% pleased and will always ask for Giovanni. Worth every penny because of Giovanni.

A lovely taster tour of three beautiful locations - We had a wonderful day today 13th August despite the weather being almost unbearably hot and humid, around 35°C. Our minibus had three Italians, two French Canadians and us, three Irish people, Giovanni our driver managed to communicate with all of us, mainly using English and sometimes using a translator app to help our French speakers, or if he couldn’t find the right phrase in English. He took us to good spots to get photos and the route he took seemed to avoid the worst of the traffic, we passed through Sorrento on the way to Positano early in the morning, and when we returned later for an hour of free time the traffic had built up considerably and would’ve made trying to get to Positano very time consuming. We didn’t actually go into Positano, but to a lovely viewing spot when we could take photos. I think going into the town would’ve made the tour unmanageable. When we returned to Sorrento we had an hour to do what we wanted. As my mobility isn’t great we didn’t wander too far from the main square meeting spot, but we still had time to shop for Limoncello and have a coffee while we people watched. It would’ve been nice to be on the seafront, but again that probably wasn’t feasible. Finally we headed to Pompeii. We grabbed a pizza lunch, some were better than others, and then used our included entrance ticket to visit the ruins. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get around quite well using a walker, it was only the oppressive heat that stopped me seeing more. There were quite a few ramps available, but I did get caught out by one set of huge stepping stones that I had to be helped to cross. In reality you’d need several hours, or even days, to see Pompeii properly. This tour was a taster of three lovely locations, that’s all it could be. Giovanni was a lovely driver who did his best to give us a good trip.

Wonderful tour and driver! - What a fantastic day spent with our tour guide Giovanni! He was easy to spot once we got off the cruise ship. We had a semi private tour for our family of five and two other people. We started off with the drive to Positano for some picture postcard views. We continued on to Sorrento where we had some free time to explore. Could have spent a ton more time there but a good reason to plan a trip back. After that, we made our way back to Pompeii, but before then we wanted a place to have lunch and Giovanni recommended a great little out-of-the-way restaurant at the locals frequent. The food did not disappoint! After lunch, we hit Pompeii. It was hot! Giovanni was waiting for us after our tour right where he said he would be with the air conditioning on in the van! You could tell that Giovanni had a passion for his job and for the city in which he calls home. It was such a wonderful day. Thank you to Giovanni For sharing his knowledge and stories during our drive.

Great way to see all the sights for 1 day. - Small group tour with Giovanni. Giovanni provided some insights and answered our questions about the places we visited and passed. Transportation was clean and comfortable.

Decent value given the packed schedule of the excursion. Thank you. - Giovanni, the guide, gave a nice fresh intro of the different points we visited with him for the long duration of the excursion. Despite the language barrier, he efficiently got us to see many attractions. He maintained contact at key moments even when he dropped us to pick us back up.
We experienced the street life in Sorento (even with the crowd of the high season), the drive along the Amalfi coast and then the generous time at Pompeii to allow us to see a decent % of the Pompeii site. We did appreciate the elements that show the relatively advanced infrastructure that existed in the city. We came out of the excursion having a good idea of what we may do next time we visit Italy south of Rome.

Nice tour! - Lemonade stop and view. Sorrento was fabulous. Pompeii was interesting. Weather was great and driver did a nice job getting us where we were going.

Could have been much better - We were on a cruise and this was the only viator tour that was a bit of a disappointment. Our tour guide gave very little if any information the whole ride to Sorrento. We had to ask if the big mountain on our left was Mount Vesuvius which should have been an easy thing to point out. She was either texting of talking on her phone most of the time we were driving. We got to Sorrento and we had an hour. We parked 15 minutes away from the town so walking to and from the town took up half that time. Sorrento was quite nice, but if you stopped to get a little something to eat it made for a mad dash from the town to the van in very hot temperatures. We got back to the van on time but soaking wet from running. The tour would have been much better if we had more time in Sorrento and less than 2 and a half hours in Pompeii. As far as a guide, there was very little information given and they could have saved themselves some money by just having a van driver pick us up and drop us off at these locations.

Quit good - Sorrento beautiful views.
Pompei archeological site was so interesting but the map was not clear. You get lost easily.
Positano road was closed because of landslide.
