This tour also includes a visit to Vesuvius, one of the world’s most renowned and hazardous volcanoes, famous for its eruption in 79 A.D. that devastated Pompeii and Herculaneum. Today, it stands as a premier tourist destination, offering stunning views of the Gulf of Naples and hiking trails leading to the crater.
During the Vesuvius visit, there is also an option to tour a local winery (PLEASE NOTE THAT LUNCH AT THE WINERY IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE). Here, visitors can observe the production of Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio wine, a wine with ancient roots tied to the Vesuvian region.
- Day tour from Rome : We suggest to catch the Freccia Rossa Fast Train from Rome Termini (departure time from Rome 7.35 am) to Naples Centrale (arrival time 8.45 am) and we will pick you up directly from the Naples train station and then.. at the end of the day tour we will drive you back in Naples where you will catch the train back to Rome (suggested train departing from naples at 6.30pm)
