After about 1 hour of driving through the city, you will begin to pass through a national park that features amazing views of the Bay of Naples. You will ascend to 1,000 meters in your bus, from where you will take a walking path up to the crater. Once here you can admire breathtaking views, and learn more about local geology from your volcanological guide. You will then have time to walk around and take pictures before re-boarding your bus and returning to Naples.

The tour commences in the heart of Naples, leading you to the majestic Mount Vesuvius. This excursion offers a rare chance to visit the region’s most iconic site.
After approximately an hour’s drive through a national park, showcasing stunning vistas of the Bay of Naples, the journey continues as you ascend to 1,000 meters by bus. From there, a walking path leads you to the crater. Here, you can enjoy spectacular views and deepen your understanding of local geology with the help of your volcanological guide.
There will be ample time to explore and capture photos before boarding the bus for the return trip to Naples.

NO WORDS! Incredible! - OH my gosh ... I don't know where to start! First of all our driver went over and above to pick us up and get us situated into the park. The hike was unbelievable. One of our favorite activities while we were on our cruise. Hiking to the top of Mount Vesuvius was a once in the lifetime events. The weather was a little cold and windy ... but clear. We could see everything from on top.

Don’t Miss This Amazing Experience! - Excellent driver! On time, right where they said he would be. Drive us to the end of the road halfway up Vesuvius, and the rest was our hike. Breathtaking.
He picked us up on time and took us back to the meeting point. Highly recommend!

A great way to see Mt Vesuvius from Naples in only half a day . - The trip was excellent. Had fantastic views from Mt. Vesuvius. The bus from the pickup spot left exactly on time. It took less than an hour to get to Mt. Vesuvius. We were given about two hours on the mountain which was more than enough time to get up for some tremendous views. There are guides that can provide a lot of interesting information. The bus back to Vesuvius left right on time and we were back in Naples before 1:30. A fantastic morning.

Exciting - The person who accompanied us was very good and helpful
We took time to come down
The bus had left so he readily arranged for the cab
Of course we paid 75₹ for cab but he arranged for us that was a great help to us

Impressive half a day nature walk and climb. - Impressive nature, dont rush, bring comfy, but not valueable shoes, will be dirty. 2 hours more then enough. Guides not so interesting and hard to hear…

Meh…. - The bus tour turned out to be a maxi taxi with even the seats next to the driver being used. Got no information/commentary from the driver - maybe a few words but couldn’t make out what was said due to the volume of his music.
Basically it was a drive to the mountain, and a drive back to Naples with the entrance ticket to the national park included.

Okay - Getting there was a bit chaotic, we had to sit 90 minutes in bus picking up people. A lot of them ended up standing which was unacceptable. We were told we would be picked up at 9.30 and be back at 12.30 , we didn’t arrive until 11.45 after being picked up at 9.30 . Transport company needs a shake up

Mixed reactions - When I boarded the bus near the Central bus station, Ciro told me my ticket was only for the bus. illenia sent two of the same vouchers for bus transportation only. I messaged back the company and was referenced again the bus transportation voucher. I asked again, stating it was only for bus transportation. Finally I got the voucher for admission to the Mount Vesuvius. I would like to commend Ciro for bringing this my attention. Otherwise this fatal error would have ruined the day. There would have been no communication once I got there to fix the problem.
A staff member was nice enough to give me a ride up to where the guide starts the mini tour. The guide was thorough about the mountain and the eruptions. It was about 15 minutes to the end to walk which affords very scenic views of the Bay of Naples.
On the way back Ciro was gracious to let me get off in the city center. I would like to thank him again for saving the day.

Worst ever!!!! World tours rip off - Never sh and claimedowed up then lied and claimed they were there...hour in the pouring rain! Aweful!!!! Company lies Vaitor supports....ruined last day of vaca....will fight it out with credit card co
