Fantastic Wxperience - Great experience. Francisco was friendly and gave us a lot of information about olive groves and how to recognize excellent EVOO. The highlight was spending time with Francisco’s grandparents at their home for a wine and EVOO tasting.

A passion for oil and for life. - Francesco is a passionate young man who brings a very authentic experience to his guests. He is thoughtful, welcoming, engaging and informative. The tour has the feeling of visiting a relative in his olive grove, followed by oil and wine tasting at his grandparents home. It brings an understanding to the techniques and challenges of small producers of olive oil throughout Sicily and perhaps beyond. The still producing two hundred year old trees stand as testament to the love and commitment associated with this serene farming endeavour.

Lovely & unique experience - Such a unique, private and full-hearted experience from team Essensily. We had a lovely morning learning about the olive trees and the oil production spiced with personal stories and interesting details. The tour was followed by an authentic lunch and tasting session with the owner’s grandparents, which besides being delicious, felt like an absolute privilege and honour. The organic olive oil tastes nothing like you tried before (promise!) and we were also sold on Essensily’s wines. Highly recommended tour!

Francesco was a wonderful... - Francesco was a wonderful host. He had extensive knowledge regarding olive oil and wine. The olive oil was like nothing we have in the United States. We enjoyed meeting his grandparents and their hospitality.

Great olive oil and wine experience, getting to know a lovely Italian family business - Really great experience! Francesco and his girlfriend were great hosts. We first went to the olive trees, could listen to some stories of how olive oil is made and what is important. Afterwards we had a olive oil and wine tasting at the small but cozy grandparent's place. A real family-vibe. Francesco's grandparents came as well, we ate home-made Caponata. A guest, who didn't feel well quickly got a healthy tea made by Fracesco's grandma. The young couple has interesting plans with Esensily and I'm convinced it will become an even more successful family business in the future. It simply was a great mix of getting to know an Italian family business, and learn about olives and wine. We happily recommend it!

A true Sicilian experience - Fransesco and his family were wonderful to visit. The day began in the beautiful olive groves where we had a throughou dive into olive growing and processing and about local wines. Great discussions for a botanist-couple like us. And the lunch, olive oil and the wines at their family's home were excellent accompanied with great discussions as well. Highly recommended. Ps. Also the gluten-free needs were met well

An amazing experience with an amazing family!! - Francesco and Simona were wonderful hosts… There olive Grove was beautiful and their knowledge was incredible… Sharing lunch with Francesco‘s grandparents will be a memory we will never forget… The olive oil ❤️ we will ship to America to serve in our restaurant, and hope that our suppliers can bring over their wine… We had a wonderful lunch and wonderful conversation with an amazing family!!..

Very Enjoyable - This activity was very relaxing and enjoyable. Francesco is extremely knowledgeable and goes into great detail about olive trees, growing olives, and making olive oil. The tour through the olive tree farm is relaxing, as Francesco explains the time and effort in maintaining and harvesting the olives. Francesco also covers similar details for growing and making wine. After the tour of the olive tree farm, we went to Francesco’s grandparent's home for olive oil and wine tasting. Francesco’s grandmother prepared a few excellent Sicilian appetizers to enjoy with the olive oil and wine tasting. We had a great time visiting with Francesco’s grandparents as we sampled the olive oil and wine.
