We're 50 minutes from Palermo. The meeting point is near the exit/entrance of the highway in Balestrate.
We can Pick you up ( Is an extra service)or take the bus from Palermo to Alcamo; from Alcamo, it's just a 15-minute car ride to our place.

Excellent olive oil and wine experience - Francesco and his family were delightful. The tour started in the family owned Olive groves. We learned about growing olives and making olive oil. He also showed us prickly pears and other fruits on his property. We then went to his grandparents home for the tasting of wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. His mother and grandmother prepared some appetizers to accompany the tastings. Everything was delicious!!! We were able to order olive oil, vinegar and wine to ship home. Such an amazing experience. I highly recommend. This was by far our best tour in Sicily.

Hometown Sicily - Francesco is a brilliant entrepreneur and well informed horticulturist. We wandered the olive grove and learned about production of fruits from 20 year old trees to 300 year old trees. The hospitality of his grandparents in their seaside home was incomparable to any other experience we’ve had In Sicily. I wish I could remember the name of the sandwich we made, it was delicious. The wines were great, but the vinegar was incredible! We brought a bottle of each home.

Amazing :) - This is amazing and completely worth it! Francesco is so friendly and knowledgeable. We asked tons of questions and he was happy to answer them all! The property with the olive trees is beautiful and wonderful to walk around. Going back to his grandparents for the tasting is such a fun treat - both in food and drink, and having their company!
We bought quite a bit of wine along with some oil, and will be buying more online (only so much room in our luggage 😊)!!
This tour and tasting was one of the best parts of our trip!
Afterwards, we even walked down the street and got some gelato recommended by Francesco.

Wonderful tour led by kind and educated guide! - Francesco is welcoming and very educated on wine and olive oil making. The grounds are beautiful and the spread at his grandparents house is unmatched! Very intimate and lovely experience. Good people and good olive oil and wine!

Olive grove visit to Balestrate - Visit of an olive grove in Balestrate. Very friendly Guide. We visited the farm and then tasted the typical Sicilian olive oil and culinary dishes prepared by Francesco’s grandmother, our Guide. Olive oil is of exceptional taste and quality. All the products were excellent. I highly recommend this visit!

Must do experience - To explain how special today was is impossible. Francesco and his family provide a must do experience. We started off in the Olive grove where Francesco walked us through and let us know about the whole process in making Olive oil and showed us the trees. We then moved to the tasting which included the olive oil, balsamic vinegars, and wine that Essensily make. We also got to try Nonna’s caponata, sfincone, olives, tomatoes and other delicious local produce. It was great to meet everybody and really get a sense of Francesco’s passion for the industry. Do yourself a favour and book this tour.

Great! - Francisco is great! The tour was great and our time at his grandparents was great! It was a great insight to the process of how olive oil is made. We had 4 people in our party and we all really enjoyed our time!

Could not recommend higher!! - Honestly amazing - a must see in Sicily! Francesco and his family are so friendly and welcoming. I feel as if I have had a real taste of Sicilian life! A fascinating tour of the orchard and a delicious tasting of the oil, balsamic and wine after! This is such a lovely day out, lovely people - could not recommend this higher!! Book it you really won’t regret it!
