Don’t miss this tour! - Ricardo gave our group a thorough tour of Mexico City’s historic district - architecture, history, politics, art, cuisines and more. He knows all the nooks and crannies that you’d never find on your own. I did this tour on my first day in Mexico City and would recommend the same for you - it’s a great overview. Did I mention he’s very friendly and accommodating - if you want to stop to purchase something or if you need a brief rest, he is amenable. Five big stars for Ricardo.

Looooved this tour! Will come back and book again! - It was an amazing tour, we were really lucky to have friends recommend Ricardo. He really knows what he is talking about, you can see how much time he has invested in scouting the city to give you the best experience and feel. Every place we went to he explained the history perfectly and some fun facts every now and then. It's not like a regular tour where you feel like you paid for it, it's more like hanging out with a friend who is just showing you his home country, but even better since he knows everything! I've traveled a lot, and have had many tour guides, so far he is at the top of the list, no doubt about it. What he is charging isn't even close to what you will experience, take my word of advice, and stop looking for another tour guide. We hope to come back soon and get to know more about this amazing city, take care Ricardo!

Privet Mexico City tours - I recently had the pleasure of taking a city tour in Mexico City( historic center) with Ricardo, and it was an outstanding experience. Ricardo was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic, which made the tour both informative and enjoyable. We took 2 more tours with Ricardo in the other parts of the city and they were great.

Fantastic!! - Ricardo was an amazing tour guide! We had such a fantastic day exploring the city, learning about Mexico’s culture and history, enjoying good drinks, and good views! This is one of those tours that feels like you’re just walking around a city with your local friend. He also does a great job of providing you the historical context, without sounding like a Professor 😉. I would recommend this tour to all of my friends and family that come back to Mexico City! Do yourself a favor and book this tour as your first one, when you come to Mexico City!

Awesome and authentic Mexico City tour - Mexico City is such a beautiful place to explore! The colors, the history, and the food options are incredible. I had lived in Mexico before but only got to see the touristy side. This time, my trip felt totally different thanks to Ricardo’s tour. He knows the city like the back of his hand and took me to some really unique places I wouldn’t have found on my own. He made the tour super fun and shared cool historical facts about the Centro Histórico while also taking amazing pictures :). Thank you, Ricardo, for also recommending awesome spots for nightlife and local food!

Great experience! - This tour was so informative and interesting from the first site, until we concluded. I had been reading a lot over the prior months about Mexico’s complex history so I came to the tour with a ton of questions that Ricardo didn’t shy away from at all. His knowledge of his culture, neighborhoods, history, and so many great spots to stop for food and drink were such a bonus. Seriously, I rarely do ‘tourist’ activities and this is a tour I could repeat again and get just as much out of it. Enjoy!

This was a fantastic tour with a personable guide who added so much value to our day! Must do! - Ricardo was fantastic. It was like having a friend take us around the city. We are a family with 2 kids ages 8 & 10. Ricardo customized the tour to us. We love views adn taking photos, especially from balconies and rooftops and he took us to several spots only a local would know to find. He gave us just the right amount of historical information and stories to answer our questions and keep the girls interested. We did a mix of sightseeing, snacking, and shopping on our tour to keep everyone happy. We learned so much, but it felt more like chatting with a friend. We ended with drinks and appetizers at a rooftop restuarant overlooking the Zocolo. The weather was cooler and cloudy with a spritz of rain that we were able to dodge. All the research I could do could not have compared to having someone so knowledgable by my side to curate the plan as needed for rain, kids who wanted a snack, bathroom breaks, the less known spots and views and all his knowledge about the buildings and history of the city. It really made the day so enjoyable for us, as neither of us had to play tour guide, consult google maps, or get frustrated with one another! We could just look around and enjoy the day. Safety in this area is sometimes a concern for tourists and I can say we felt very safe. If we were in a crowded area that can be known for pickpockets, Ricardo warned us to secure our phones, etc. His English is fantastic. Our girls are in dual immersion in school and he practiced Spanish with them. Before meeting he sent me an email with reccomended places to eat in other areas of the city. My kids loved his ice cream recommendation, Amorino, in Roma. We visited Coyoacan the day prior to meeting him and would have benefited from having Ricardo with us. We will hire him again for future trips, even if we don't need or want a tour necessarily, but just as a private guide. He was affordable, personable, and added so much value to our day. If you haven't figured it out by now, we highly recommend Ricardo and this tour.

Best tour for seeing the true Mexico City - Ricardo's love for his city and passion shines through on this tour, I highly recommend it. We got to see so much of the city, hidden spots and cultural hot spots and ended up in a roof top bar watching the sun set over the city followed by Taco's at a locals favorite spot. The walk itself is very easy, not very hilly, some of the buildings have a lot of stairs as is the way with old buildings.
