Amazing history tour - Amazing tour!!! If you are considering this tour, do it in the beginning of your trip! Ricardo is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both ancient history and contemporary history of Mexico. This tour gives a great overview of Mexico history and I found a lot of places to check for my following trip! Just make sure you are on your comfortable shoes and have a good breakfast before the trip…

Enjoyable and informative - Rick was a terrific tour guide. Well worth it to get up early for a 9:00 start at the castle before the crowds descended later in the morning. He provided a lot of insight and interesting information. We had time for a quick coffee/snack before getting to the Anthropology Museum. Things slowed down there due to the high number of people but we still managed to get a good intro to some highlights.

Don’t miss this lovely tour with Ricardo - Ricardo was on time. Very friendly. And his knowledge of history and the details of everything we saw was amazing. I liked that he knew to take breaks in between walking and with him I saw and understood so much more about the history of everything we saw. He is a great guide!

Uneven Tour - The trip to the palace was excellent. But the visit to the anthropology museum was disappointing. I was familiar with ancient cultures of Mexico. My adult son was not. Our guide did not provide sufficient upfront context of civilizations, time periods, what they had in common, what was distinctive and reasons for decline. She relied on the museum exhibits which ultimately gave attendees a fragmented history. Also, she had a soft voice. Her soft voice competed with the voice of other guides and sounds in the museum. Too, she provided information as we walked. Our group was big. One had to walk right next to her to hear. So, the second half of the tour was not engaging.
