Great day tour - Great tour and good information throughout. An extra stop was added to visit the murals outside de UNAM which I found very informative and interesting. The only thing I'd post put is that we were given little time in some places and a lot at the last neighborhood. Thankfully, I had tickets for the Frida museum do my wait wasn't too long before we were taken back to town at then end of the tour. Excellent tour guide with not just historical knowledge but also current affairs one. Recommended.

I had a fantastic... - I had a fantastic experience on the tour! It was incredibly informative and packed with interesting insights. Although it was a long day, the tour guides, esp Allen, truly made it enjoyable with their engaging presentation and knowledge. I can't recommend them enough!

Very informative. Our... - Very informative. Our guide Hector, explained a lot about the culture and we learned a lot. The stops themselves were not too long, so keep that in mind. Half the time we were sitting in the bus, but the traffic in this city is so bad so it’s not their fault obviously. But it would be a good thing to keep in mind, especially if you are traveling with families, elderies or children. Wish they would lay out all the information on the page where they explain the itinerary. I had to ask through the chat to find out some stuff like pickup points. There were two pick up/drop off points, and we go by a tour bus with maybe 3-40 other people. Maybe it’s a good idea to start the tour early to avoid traffic a bit more? But overall, if you are looking to experience xochimilco and learn about mexican history, it’s a great deal!

Stress Free Tour - Very nice trip. Stress free. The tour guide took care of everything. We chose the English specking tour and the guide was easy to understand. Did not have a heavy accent. Lunch was not included but the resturant we were taken to was delicious and reasonably priced. If you want to see the Frida Kahlo Museum I suggest you purchase the tickets with the tour. Some people did not purchase entrance tickets with the tour and they were not able to get in once we stopped at the museum.

Another good tour - Interesting trip but too much time on the bus. That’s because the traffic is bad.Hector was a good guide and the bus driver was very patient. We made 2 stops at places to buy things which I could have skipped.

If you have a day to burn this could be fun but it is a lot of time in a car. - This is an ALL day adventure. All we really wanted to do was the boat ride but you're going to be gone from 8am - 6pm. The boat ride was maybe an hour. It was cool to do but they're going to try and upsell you on a lot of things. The host was great! It was just too long of a day to not see all that much. It's wwaaayyy more fun to just walk around Mexico city.

First of all we wanted... - First of all we wanted tickets to the Frieda Kahlo museum. Be aware, look carefully that may not be an option the day you go. Next, we were told to arrive 15 minutes before the departure time 7:50, which we did. Our guide did not arrive until 8:10. Our guide did not sit with us at lunch , nor did she come with us on the boat ride. A fellow traveler acted as our translator. I liked the itinerary and enjoyed the boat ride, but it was definitely a tourist trap.

Theft of time for personal gain of guides. - The appointment to start the tour was relatively early, which looked good to enjoy more the points offered on the tour, however they added a stop to a store, (place that was not agreed) to be given a demonstration of the silver work, with excuse of being able to use the bathrooms and receive a drink. However, this place was located in an area away from the contracted points of interest, in addition to being a dangerous area, and most seriously: it resulted in loss of valuable time (more than 3 hours between going to and returning to the area where the tour started) so in UNAM we were 20 minutes, in Xochimilco only the right time for the tour, and in Coyoacán only eating without free time to know the area and the Frida house museum less than an hour. It should be clarified that the loss of more than three hours was not related to traffic, but to the fact that the guides (Hector, Eleazar and driver Fernando) probably led us to waste time in an uninteresting place to charge some commission for their personal gain. Agree to visit some extra point, as long as it was on the road and not north, when everything we were interested in was south. The tourist spots are very beautiful and interesting but we did not have the time to enjoy them. So I would not re-contract with Amigo Tours nor recommend them.

Lousy transport. You don't win a star - We did not sit in the last row of the minibus and it has no windows. We could not see anything of the places mentioned in the guide.Tuesday 11 February .2025.volkswagen krafter. 4 hour trip without seeing anything.plus give her discomfort for the little space.chauffeur Beto. Guide Sergio, they 2 excellent at what they do. The person who chooses transportation for tourism does not have the intimate knowledge.
