Tour to hear “the rest of the story” and fascinating facts - The tour guide is Jorge. He is a professor with deep experience in United States and Mexico with a diverse background that includes Europe. If you want a tour that is, as Charles Goodwin would say, “the rest of the story,” take this tour. We really enjoyed learning more than what is typical surface level stories told about history. I have always wondered about certain historical stories and Jorge has given some excellent background and perspectives that are more logical, tangible and realistic. It’s fascinating how religion, politics, and wealth can modify facts to suit. Jorge will provide a balance of 1:1 tour guiding and allowing self-touring. We enjoyed this balance. this tour covers both the Chapultepec Castle (aka Mexico History Museum) and the Anthropology Museum. Starting early is a perfect strategy since both sites are very popular and there are longer lines starting 11am. Pay attention to the guidelines NOT to bring water and food into the museums. the Antrhopology Museum has a bag check in the event you must have water and food close by. Thanks for the wonderful, eye-opening tour, Jorge.

mañana en el bosque - Jorge is filled with passion when retelling the history of Mexico! We absolutely loved the crash course before visiting the Chapultepec Castle. The views were outstanding. We enjoyed hearing about Jorge’s connection to the Bosque de Chapultepec and our next stop, Museo Nacional de Antropología. After Jorge left us with a few very important key points about the museum, we stayed the rest of the day to take it all in. Jorge has so much knowledge and loves to teach others, we had a wonderful morning with him! Thank you my friend! ❤️

Bad Experience - Our guide Jorge Bromell was just awful and should not be used again for anyone's tour. He had a set presentation and would not deviate from it. In other words, if he was asked a question he would not answer it and said his answer would have to wait until he got to that point in his presentation. Sometimes he never answered the question. He was completely inflexible, told rambling irrelevant stories about himself and other issues and was very dramatic in his story telling.. He made us sit down to listen to him which wasted a great deal of time. He should have been able to talk as we walked. He spent almost no time with us in the Anthropology Museum and did not accompany us into the Chapultepec Castle. At $144.94 for the two of us this tour was very overpriced and Mr. Bromell was very irritating to listen to. I was very glad when the tour was over. I don't like being so negative about another person but I wouldn't want other to be subjected to his tour.
