You’ll kick off your journey with a stroll in the Plaza de las Tres Culturas where you’ll visit Santiago de Tlatelolco church and appreciate the remnants of an ancient pre-Hispanic city, alongside the monument that pays tribute to the 1968 student movement.
Your journey continues at the complex of the Guadalupe Basilica. You are sure to appreciate the stunning views of Mexico City from the holy hill of Tepeyac. During the tour of the religious complex, you will also explore the Indians’ Chapel, the Pocito Chapel, and of course the modern Basilica.
Bringing your experience to an end, you will travel to the State of Mexico to visit the archaeological site of Teotihuacan and delve into the significant history of this splendid pre-Hispanic city.
Included in this activity is a visit to a craft center, where you’ll have a chance to sample regional liqueurs (cactus and prickly pear) and the traditional pulque drink.

Sightseeing day - Great day and great group. Traveling solo and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Prepare for a full day. Definitely not rushed. And be ready for pickup. Our guides were great. Driving superb!

Great way to see these sites. - Had a great time! Was nice seeing the pyramids, and got to have a nice lunch nearby (not included in the price), and overall a really good way to see some of these historic sites in mexico. Went with a group of about 10, so got to meet some other people and chat.

Best Tour Guide!!! - The most memorable part of the tour was our tour guide Carlos. He was so friendly, kind, funny, engaging, knowledgeable, a true historian. He had such a wealth of knowledge about everything. You could just spend hours talking to him and learning. There were plenty of pit stops, and it involved quite a bit of walking. Seeing the sites and workshops were unforgettable! We love and miss Carlos!

Food poisoning - Great trip except for the meal. Still suffering from food poisoning three days later. Made the mistake of assuming that Viator was vouching for the foots safety at the restaurant they brought us to.

It’s a racket to get you to shop with their vendors - Van was 40 minutes late picking us up. I had to message them two times on WhatsApp to find out when they were going to arrive. They never reached out to me proactively. The company owner is so afraid that there is a scam going on that they require the tour operators to take pictures of the group at every stop to validate that the operators are actually doing their job. They take you to tourist traps where you are forced to listen to presentations. For example, the van pulled into a parking garage that connected to the Guadalupe church and they dropped us directly inside a church gift shop. We were forced to listen to a presentation on Guadalupe and then offered multiple opportunities to buy Catholic icons. The tour operator surely gets a kickback from the places that the van stops at. There’s no other logical explanation.
