Very good. Can recommend - Nice excursion with good guides. The group was split into two. An English and a Spanish speaking group. The guides Salvator and Gerson were knowledgeable and entertaining

Great experience - The tour was great. The guides taught us a lot about where we went and gave us enough time to explore on our own. Everything was very authentic and I did not feel harassed to buy things. I would recommend to a friend. Also great price!!

Jaw Dropping Hike with Knowledgeable Expert - The landscape is just stunning… both mountains were snow capped and calling to be photographed at every turn. The hike was not very strenuous but the altitude could be felt with some chest tightening and shorter pace. Fabrizio is a highly experienced alpinist, very humble, kind, gentle-spirited — he looks out for his climbers which builds a ton of trust. He made the experience the most memorable.

Beautiful - Amazing hike with incredible views. Our guide, Santiago, was super friendly and helpful. Our group struggled somewhat with the altitude, but he kept the pace comfortable.

Best time climbing a volcano! - Fabricio was a wonderful host and guide! He was funny, charismatic, and super knowledgeable! His obvious experience with hiking and climbing made our experience much more pleasant and easygoing. Super kudos for the food recommendation too!

Good. Next time will try to hire a guide to customize a hiking tour - On the plus side, the site is beautiful, we had a great time chatting with the rest of the group, and it felt wonderful to breathe fresh air. On the negative side, this is a long ride (about 12 hours door to door), with only 3-4 hours actually hiking. The hike is technically easy (200m ascent) but can be challenging because of the altitude (about 4000m). There is a 1 hour stop at a local eatery - perhaps time better used hiking?

Terrible service - They canceled me 3 days before without giving me a reason. I had flights purchased, a hotel, everything scheduled and they were not responsible. I don't recommend it, don't waste your time and money.

Don't choose this Tour Operator for Volcano Hiking - This disponited review is only related to Opertor Amigo. Viator actually responded fast and friendly This tour was my worst travel experience for last 20 years, the Tour Opertor-Aimgo did not carried out the Volcano hiking at all due to the closure of the Volcano parking, but we were not given any refund from this tour company and even no respond to our direct feed back. 1st, The tour company should know the open or closure status, so that we do not need to travel there in a busy small van which waste our whole day and money, we were informed only after we arrived there. 2nd, the entire arrangement of the trip was not pleasant, not mentioned the tour guide had a car broken down and let us waiting twice , each around 1h, the driver did not drive us to the point after tour company arranged us to see a small waterfall with a separate payment from us, we are the only group of people to walk through the dusty road, each time when a car drove through, we had to breath the dusty air, we did see a van with tourists drove in when we walked back to the parking area. In addition, on the way going and back, there were 2 stops in resturant for very much long hours and ask traveller to buy food or eat in the resturant 3rd, the tour guide did promise us to fix it regarding our trip refund, but we haven't heard any response from Amigo yet. No show at meeting point - Not recommended - I booked the tour to the volcanos some days in advance, booking was confirmed, weather was nice, no outstanding volcanic activity reported. So I went to the meeting point of amigo tours at 6am. When the tour operators arrived I asked for my tour and they told me there is no tour to the volcanos today. Some of the tour guides were not very helpful and the lady that was in the office at the meeting point didn't even come out to me for a face to face talk (which I requested) about what happened and how to proceed. After two hours trying to call different phone numbers (where no one answered) I went back to my place. Eventually, I received an email that due to volcanic activity the event had to be canceled (Yes the volcano has been little bit active the past days and weeks but it has not changed, so why even offer the tour or cancle short-term? They would have known in advance as from my perception the situation did not change a lot). They offered to change to another tour the next day which was something completely different. No thanks! If they cancel the event for safety reasons I understand that but they would have known earlier. As said there are some volcanic activities, so if this is the reason they should not even have offered the tour... So I am quite disappointed and I cannot in any way recommend this tour / company.
