Excellent tour - Excellent service, the tour started on time at 9 a.m. Don Marco is very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the different historical points of Mexico City. He also showed us incredible places to eat. The tour lasted approximately 8 hours, perfect for a long stopover in the city. Recommended a thousand times!

Best way to learn history, culture and cuisine in a limited time - Our guide Marco Antonio is a native from Mexico City, very knowledgeable about history, culture of Mexico. He is familiar with all the spots tourists are interested in, including special exhibits of galleries. He took us to a restaurant and a cafe where we enjoyed authentic Mexican dishes loved by local people. It was a layover tour, so asking for a private guide was a perfect way to get to know the city in a limited time and the guide was very flexible to suggest plans according to our interests. We even asked for another layover tour on the way back. Muchísimas gracias!

We had a short layover... - We had a short layover and had an excellent tour with Marco. He picked us up from the airport and we went for some great food in a local neighborhood. We then did a walking tour of some of the highlights in the historic downtown area. We also squeezed in a few extra sites by car on the way back to the airport. Exactly what we were hoping for.

When life hands you lemons, have an adventure in Mexico City! - When our Areomexico flight connection in Mexico City turned into a 12 hour layover, my girlfriend got creative and booked a city tour and later added ancient ruins, with a private guide. Sound good? It was... Booking with Viator was easy and they were adaptable when we later added onto our tour. Fabio, our guide, was waiting at the airport upon our arrival. He was easy to find and had his clean, spacious Kia parked near by. Fabio was multi-lingual, speaking our language perfectly and with good humor. He was well networked with other tour guides, attractions and businesses. Fabios professor level knowledge of local attractions was impressive and encouraged hours of engaging conversation with our family. His enthusiasm for the tour was contagious and welcome. When we began to slow down because of the heat and being tired from long flights, our guide adjusted the tour speed and complexity to our needs. Thanks Fabio and Viator, you made lemonade out of the lemon of a layover.

Excellent Tour with Fabio Meltis Gonzalez - My family of two parents and 4 young children did a Mexico City layover tour. We had 20 hours in Mexico City, which gave us plenty of time to get out and see the city. We used Insolitours with our guide Fabio Meltis Gonzalez. The tour was amazing! We saw all the main sights of the city, had a great lunch, and really felt like we got a good feel for the city. Fabio was excellent! After spending a year in South America touring around, I can still confidently same he was the most knowledgeable guide we've ever had. He made the tour fun, was great with our young children, and made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend. I highly recommend Insolitours with Fabio!
