Excellent tour that... - Excellent tour that exceeded my expectations. Great mixture of history, new experiences and tastings, learning how to cook, and enjoying new friends. The food was great, I didn’t think I liked mole until this class. The chef was amazing, very laid back and accommodating but also passionate about her work. Highly recommend!

Mole mole mole - We had a lot of fun with Gracela and our group. If you're visiting Mexico City for 1 week or more and are staying in Condesa / Roma Norte, do this class early in your trip to get to know the neighborhood a bit more. We went back to the Madellin market to get fresh produce etc so the class already was super useful even before we got back to our own kitchen.

An extraordinary learning and eating experience. - Excellent cooking class and tour of a local market. Chef Lorena was wonderful and courteous. Walking around the market and taste testing foods was a great experience. The kitchen was brightly colored and added to the ambiance of the experience. Each dish was carefully explained and very hands on. I would highly recommend this if you like learning and eating.

Amazing One-of-a-Kind Experience Not to be Missed in Mexico City - A terrific amazing one-of-a-kind experience not to be missed. Highly recommended! Everything was fantastic from the introduction, market tour (including tasting some insects), food prep/cooking and then dining at the end. The whole experience was 4 hours+ and was definitely the best food experience we have ever had anywhere in the world. The host chef was kind, outgoing, extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent teacher. The 4-course meal food preparation was definitely hands-on and a great learning experience. At the end after our meal, we were provided the recipes which was very much appreciated so we can re-create the foods at home. It was the highlight of our 8-day trip to Mexico. We would love to do some of their other tours on a return trip to Mexico City.

Great Class! Highly Recommend! - The class was great. She was super knowledgeable and the class was very interactive. Everyone enjoyed all the food and we learned a lot. One thing to note - the meeting point is the kitchen so ring the doorbell. We had been standing outside assuming someone would come meet us to tour the market and didn't know we had to ring the doorbell.

A Great Class - Come Hungry - What a great morning. Started off with excellent descriptions of the items used in Mexican Cooking and where they come from. Had a snack, and then got to go to the market down the street. Then we came back and got to work. Even when we split to accomplish different tasks, we still were shown and explained what to do so we all could do it at home. Such great explanations and simple instructions.
