Cook up food and memories - One of the highlights of my trip. Ile is an engaging, charming, knowledgeable teacher, imparting kitchen wisdom in a small kitchen. After a visit to the Mercado, we prepared four or five salsas using different chiles, as well as a soup appetizer, chicken in sauce and tortillas from scratch, topped off with chocolate tamales (with Mamey ice cream) all delicious simple and healthy. A few shots of Mezcal only made things better.

Good experience - We enjoyed our class very much. Going to the market was a nice experience. The home was lovely. The process of making the food was fun and the food turned out delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that the other couple doing the class with us had cocktails included in their experience somehow. I didn't see a distinction when I booked. During the class they were able to make three cocktails and we did not get to experience that part. It was awkward for not just us but for the other couple as well. They told us they didn't want to be rude, which of course they weren't, and offered us some of their cocktails. It would've been nice to have had that shared experience.

5 stars all the way - Diana was amazing. My husband and I learned about Mexican cooking and participated in this adventure. Diana gave us market tour. The dinner was fantastic. This was a real gem.

Fantastic. Had a wonderful time with the chef and enjoyed the food immensely. Well worth the experience. - Fantastic time. The chef was amazing and what we made was extremely tasteful and beautiful. We have taken cooking classes in different parts of the world, and this was one of the best and friendliest.

Shopping for groceries at... - Shopping for groceries at the market was great! I’ll never buy tortillas from the store again. Our chef was fun and very knowledgeable.

Unforgettable cooking class - Don't miss the amazing cooking class in Mexico City—you'll regret it! Chef Jose is one of the most patient and knowledgeable chefs I’ve met. He takes you to the local market for ingredients before returning to a fantastic kitchen. The best part? You experience every step of the cooking process! You and your group will make delicious soups, tacos, and moles, and trust me, your second stomach will thank you because Chef Jose treats you to tasty ice cream too. I hope this class thrives, and I can’t wait to return for more culinary adventures!

Unique, local experience! - The class was great! It was very unique and cozy as you go to the market and cook in a lovely home. It was exactly what we were looking for and we look forward to trying the recipes at home! The chef was very nice and patient and it was impressive how he organized 8 different chefs in the kitchen. Would also highly recommend adding the cocktail package.

Molcajete, tortillas and Mexican dumplings - Great way to spend a few hours in Mexico City. Jose was great and the house is beautiful. Highlights were the soup and making tortillas from scratch.

Overpriced and didn't provide any drinks (other than bottled water) - It was a nice cooking class but it was overpriced for what it was. We paid £95 for a 3 hour class where the ingredients wouldn't have cost more than £10 and we weren't offered anything to drink. There were also a lot of people cooking different things at the same time it was hard to follow and we were never sent the recipes. On the description it said a mescal cocktail was included, there were no offerings of a drink.
