Awesome cooking class - must do! - This was one of the best cooking classes we’ve taken! I’ve taking almost 10 all around the world and it’s really good. Chef Lorena was so professional and knowledgeable. She showed us how to prepare 3 tacos and 3 salsas. The food was absolutely delicious and would not hesitate to do it again. Super fun! 10/10 would recommend.

The best meal and activity we encountered in Mexico City! - We did the street tacos class with Lorena and it was hands down the most fun we had anywhere in Mexico City! It was also the best meal we had! First we were fed delicious quesadillas and we learned a lot about Mexican cuisine. Then we went on a trip to see a tortilleria at work, visited a market and got to try out "exotic" to us foods, and then we returned to the class to learn how to make corn tortillas, three kinds of tacos, and three kinds of salsa. Delicious agua fresco, mezcal, beer, and wine were provided for us as well and they closed the class out by offering us tiny, delicious sweets and candies for dessert which was perfect since we were incredibly full by that point. Lorena was even kind enough to offer us some tips for making good flour tortillas since my husband has been struggling with that for a bit. I would take this class again and again. It was amazing! It's a must do activity and worth every penny! 😍🌮🇲🇽

Fun experience with a few minor points - This was a fun and educational experience. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the market tour, which was a really nice addition and got to try even more food. We were a little disappointed that we didn't actually do more cooking -- at times it felt like more of a photo opp and that the employed chefs were doing the majority of the work. But I would guess that's to be expected on these sorts of one-time cooking classes (we have not done something like this before) and it does make it good for everyone, even those who are not super comfortable in the kitchen. The food was good, especially the al pastor, campechanos, and diablo salsa. The host seemed to want to make less spicy salsas which we were confused by. Host took a lot of photos, which was nice, but sometimes felt forced for example trying to get the perfect group photo too often. All in all, good experience! Just not totally what we expected. They feed you plenty of all sorts of fun things to try and also beer and mezcal.
