• El Angel de la Independencia - The Monumento a la Independencia, commonly known as El Ángel, is an honorary column located in the traffic circle at the confluence of Paseo de la Reforma and Río Tíber and Florencia Streets. Inaugurated in 1910 with the purpose of commemorating the Centennial of the beginning of the Mexican War of Independence.

It was located as a symbol of brotherhood between the Spanish and Mexican communities in 1980 and was remodeled in 2011 as part of a maintenance and remodeling program of the capital government.
