Day trip in Mexico City - Tour guide was fexible to see and spend as much time as we wanted at each site. Was kind of like design your own tour. Our Guide was Juan Carlos, who was the owner of his own guide service. he took us to his favorite restaurant where he takes his own family.

Best Mexico City tour guide ever. - Juan Carlos was amazing. We had a group of teenagers and senior citizens and he made the trip so perfect. He is so passionate about Mexico City and I actually want to hang out with him. He struggled with English at times but his amazing luxury SUV with excellent air conditioning more than made up for it. Also, because of traffic we went like 90 minutes over the time we allotted and paid for. He’s truly amazing.

Excellent highly recommended tour! - Awesome tour guide. Juan Carlos was super knowledgeable and passionate about Mexico City. His English isn’t great, but his enthusiasm and amazing air conditioned car made up for it. It was a luxury SUV and he was an excellent driver. Because of traffic he went an hour over the estimated timeframe.
We had young kids and senior citizens and JuanCarlos was so patient and amazing with both groups.

Overwhelmed by the history, disappointed with the tour guide - Juan Carlos arrived at our hotel 15 minutes late and then we still had to wait for a second vehicle as he claimed that the van had broken down. He had no knowledge of any handicap access to the Chapultepec Castle as my wife was challenged. He had told us that after the Castle we would, as a family proceed in one vehicle, but that did not happen either. So some of the family decided to stop the tour and 3 of us went on. Juan Carlos struggled with English translations at times. At the end Juan Carlos went back to retrieve the car that was parked by the Palacia de Bellas Artes while we waited by the Metropolitan Cathedral. This took over an hour. We enjoyed the history but the experience was not the best. This tour is listed as Wheelchair and accessible leading one to believe that it would be perfect for my wife and I. Neither of us have back issues but do struggle a bit with walking.

Waste of Time - We reserved a tour with an English-speaking guide; however, the guide we had barely spoke English and could not communicate with us very well, as we did not know much Spanish. As a result, we just walked around and around with no real itinerary with a guide who could not tell us where we were or where we were going next. So, we had to look up info on our own about the things we did see. In the end, we walked around for about 7 miles without really seeing very much or getting much information. Unless you can guarantee you’ll get a guide that can communicate with you in your requested language, then skip this tour.

Horrible Tour - This tour was horrible! First off, the tour guide was about 15 minutes late. But that wasn’t even a big deal. The main problem is that when she showed up, the first thing she says to my group of three was that she doesn’t speak much English. OK, well, we don’t speak much Spanish, so that’s a BIG problem. As a result, we were given very little information about where we were, what we were seeing, and where we were going next. She just couldn’t communicate much and could not really answer any of our questions, so we were constantly referring to Google to get answers to even our basic questions, like when a certain church was built. In the end, we walked for a total of 7 miles, wandering aimlessly without any real itinerary, and just not seeing very much at all. In the end, we would’ve been better off on our own and reading Wikipedia along the way. So disappointing!
