Great guided tour experience - Great experience. Our guide (don't remember his name unfortunately) explained things very well. Kept things engaging. Gave us information on his personal archaeological work as well. He was flexible with a change in our timing and also with us needing a break in between. Even though we had to leave early he made sure he gave a summary of the exhibits we couldn't see. For a museum this big and most of the descriptions being in Spanish having a guided tour is totally worth it.

Ask for Andres - Our guide, Andres, was excellent. He hit all the important parts of the museum. Gave us a great sense of the history of early Mexico and answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable and told us about the “why” and not just the names and dates in history.

Inspiring private tour of Anthropologie Museum Mexico City - Our guide Ana oozed passion and detailed knowledge of Mexican history. She chose specific artifacts in each section of the museum and infused them with a story - of history and culture. I came away with such respect for all the people of Mexico and their culture. The museum itself was one of the most lovely and unique designs. Each section - which depicted a time in history - had an outdoor area which I found beautiful and allowed for larger historical installations.

A Tour for the Ages! - Arturo Sanchez is the best guide I have ever had who gave us a tour of the best anthropology museum I have ever visited. So often, with massive collections it is impossible to convey the history, culture, and importance of each era- to pull it all together and explain everything with enthusiasm, humour and insight. That is exactly what Arturo did and for that we are truly grateful. Don’t miss this tour!

Outstanding tour - Our tour guide, Oscar, was very personable, very knowledgeable about Mexican history and culture, and spoke impeccable English . From the moment we met him outside the museum, Oscar demonstrated his impressive command not only of the anthropology museum, but also of how Mexican history, culture, anthropology, and archaeology intersect. Before entering the museum, he shared important details that we would have easily missed, setting the stage for what we were about to see inside. He did an excellent job at selecting the most important highlights of the museum’s vast collection. His explanations were thorough. He answered all our questions in a meaningful way. He never rushed us and ended up spending more time than what we had signed up for. After the tour, we chatted informally, sharing personal stories. We felt like we had made a new friend. A wonderful tour! Highly recommended!

Quality guided insight! - This is one of the great museums of the world. It could be overwhelming trying to see too much. Fortunately, our guide, Ana, took us to select highlights throughout the museum. She was patient and informative; she listened to our questions and adjusted based on our interests. She did a great job. We (2 parents and 2 teenagers) spent ~3 hours with her there. She did a great job! Thanks!
