Excellent experience - The service was excellent, the guide knew the details of the places we were going very well, even as several places were closed as it was a holiday, he offered us an alternative to the Cacahuamilpa caves which was surprising, I definitely recommend his services 100%, many thanks from Costa Rica

The tour and guide you definitely want! - Marco is a fantastic tour guide, driver and companion. He quickly figured out special experiences that would appeal to my particular interests and introduced me to hidden gems. After our wonderful morning and lunch in Cuernavaca we headed to Taxco. On the way there we learned that a protest was making it impossible to drive into the city. So, in less than 60 seconds, Marco recommended a modification that turned out to be even better. Ask him about nature alternatives to visiting Taxco and you won’t regret it! Gracias, Marco!

Great option for seeing Cuernavaca, Taxco, Cholula and Puebla - I did two separate private day tours starting from Mexico City with Insolitours in February 2018. Both were outstanding. On the first day I went to Cholula and Puebla with Miguel, and then on the second day to Cuernavaca and Taxco with Marco. Both were extremely knowledgeable and friendly guides and they helped me to experience all 4 places. Some highlights from the trip were the mole lunch at Restaurant Sacristia in Puebla and hunting for silver in the narrow alley shops in Taxco. Insolitours offer a reasonably priced service that is tailored to what you want to see when you feel like it on the day (within reason of course). Since it is a private tour I was able to get lunch when hungry, in Taxco I was given several options to choose between and ended up deciding on the hotel which overlooks the town - enjoying a great view during lunch. If I was to say anything negative, I found the communication when I was booking a little terse - but it didn't matter at all. Both Miguel and Marco were completely flexible on the day and were able to show me all the things I wanted to see.

Felt like a local exploring Mexico City, Cuernavaca, & Taxco. 10/10 stars would recommend booking your trip w/Fabio! - Fabio is hands down the BEST tour guide I have ever had. In fact, he seemed more like a family friend than a tour guide. He was our tour guide for my family's last two trips to Mexico (January & April 2018), and I am confident that he will be our tour guide again for our next few trips to his country. Even though I can't speak Spanish, he made me feel like a local in his country. His English & Spanish are impeccable -- no one in our party of 20 could speak Spanish, so Fabio translated for us wherever we went. Speaking of large parties, Fabio was able to accommodate and connect with the dynamics of my family (ranging from the ages of 23 to 80). Every day Fabio arrived at our hotel at least 15 minutes early prior to departure. During our three day trip to Mexico, we went to Mexico City, Cuernavaca, and Taxco. On Friday & Sunday, we went to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe & drove downtown to explore the rest of the city. On Saturday, we went to Cuernavaca & Taxco. In Cuernavaca, we visited the Palace of Cortes, a few churches, and finally the Brady Museum. Afterwards, we drove to Taxco for lunch and to explore the city. Fabio was punctual about staying on schedule yet mindful about everyone else's needs/wants as well. He gave us ample flexibility in our schedules to take several photographs and to soak in the moments of just being in his beautiful country. Fabio is a local who truly knows his way through Mexico City. In fact, on the last day of our trip, we had intentions to tour the historic center of Mexico City. The Mexican presidential debates were about to begin, so many of the areas/roads were prohibited to both locals and tourists. However, Fabio was able to speak to the cops to let us through some of the prohibited areas so that we could sit down and relax at a coffee shop. It was a pretty memorable experience to say the least! I can guarantee that without Fabio, my family and I would not have been able to experience Mexico City & the rest of Mexico to its greatest potential. His passion for his city & his country makes me ecstatic to return to Mexico. I feel like this review does not justify how awesome Fabio is, but I hope it is enough to convince you that it is an absolute must to book Fabio for your trip to Mexico! Also shoutout to Gabriel, Marco, & Fernando for being the best drivers out there! The streets were narrow, wobbly, and hilly -- and they both drove like it was no problem!

Excellent service for a fair price - I enjoyed Marco's company during my Christmas getaway in Mexico City and its surroundings. I did three full day trip with them and enjoyed each and everyone of them. Marco told me that Insolitours is working on a new multi day itinerary and I really look forward to it! It would be absolutely amazing to spend a night in Taxco or any of those medieval towns and continue our journey next day instead of rushing back to Mexico City.
