- Basilica de Santa Maria de Guadalupe - The tour begins with a pick-up from the address of your accommodation. Upon arrival, we will enter through the main doors of the Atrio of the Americas (main plaza). The tour includes a visit to the entire religious complex: the new Basilica, which houses the original and miraculous tilma from 1531, the Old and First Basilica, and the sacred area where the Virgin of Guadalupe appeared to Saint Juan Diego in 1531, where the first chapel requested by Guadalupe was built. We will ascend the Hill of Tepeyac, featuring small waterfalls and gardens. At the summit, we will visit the chapel of the flowers, offering a stunning view of Mexico City. This is the site where Juan Diego collected the miraculous flowers in his cloak. The tour also includes a visit to the monumental sculpture named The Offering, accompanied by two waterfalls. We will conclude our visit at the small chapel dedicated to the Holy Water. There will be an opportunity to purchase religious items within the complex. Time can be requested to attend mass. Drop-off will be provided after the tour.

The original miraculous Tilma image of the Virgin of Guadalupe from 1531 is housed in the New Basilica and is venerated by millions. The official celebration date is December 12th. You may request time to attend mass, pray before the Virgin of Guadalupe’s tilma, and receive blessings with holy water. Religious items are available for purchase. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or any other location in Mexico City.
