4 spectacular, historic churches, plus a small crafts market. Not much on the cities. Worth the price. - The day was, basically, 4 extraordinary, unique, historic, and spectacular churches, a wonderful restaurant for lunch, and half an hour in a craft market. That's all there was time for. There wasn't much of an overview of the city, or it's culture, people or products. The churches were marvels, very ornate and baroque, from the 1500's and 1600's. One of them is on top of an indigenous pyramid, which has an archeological dig going on on one side. It's a climb to get up there, but a well-paved walkway with a railing to hold. The two-hour trip Mexico-City to Puebla is a bit arduous in the 12-passenger microbus because of the traffic and the rough roads. Most of us slept on the way home. There is one bilingual guide, English/Spanish, who adapts to his or her clientele.

Driver and guide were great, but Amigo leadership should take note! - The guide and the driver were fantastic! After doing so many tours with Amigo, i am disappointmented at their management. All other tours with them had a much more comfortable bus and 2 guides, instead of one bilingual one. While the guide did his best to go back and forth between Spanish and English, it was hard for people to follow, and everything took much longer than it should have had. Please make notes and take corrective actions in your planning, and don't blame the driver or guide! I really want you to do better!
